Even though they were contracted by the previous owner, I feel that they should stand behind their work and at a minimum contact us. They performed this work knowing that the home was under contract to be sold. The original pest report clearly states that the side garage door was to be replaced with a new pre-hung door. If they did not quote this to the previous owner, then that is their oversight and should not affect me as the new owner. I would not hire this company to do any future business but would expect them to correct the sub-standard work.

Review: Fido property services was contracted by the seller of a home we recently purchased to do some pest work (section 1 clearance). Most of the work was adequate however they really only did the "minimum required" as stated by the owner [redacted]. The main problem we had is the side garage door. This job was done sub standard and we have gotten no response from the company after many calls! The pest company, who did the initial inspection, recommended installing a new pre-hung door. Fido only installed a door in the original frame and butchered the door jamb to install a new striker plate since the "new" door was not the same height for the handle. The original door was steel and Fido installed a wooden door. Also, the door was damaged and did not fit in the frame very well. They did send a technician to look at the door and he said to call the office to see what they could do. So far we have called at least 4 times and have never gotten a response. We feel that we have given Fido an opportunity to make this right and they should stand behind their work.Desired Settlement: We would like a new pre-hung steel door to be installed in a timely manner to resolve this problem.
