Field Nation is a software platform and marketplace for connecting independent contractors to buyers of services Field Nation our service provides three main components - (1) matching buyers and providers; (2) software to manage the work and deliverables and; (3) Field Nation handles the payments between the parties including reporting at the end of the year For this service, we charge a 10% fee In addition, we provide general liability insurance for independent contractors that do not have their own for an additional 1.3% fee The insurance fee is not charged if the independent contractor has provided documentation that they have their own insurance All of these fees are consistent for all our customers Our terms and conditions can be found at fieldnation.ccom/legal.The issue identified in the complaint relates primarily to "expenses" Based on the description, it appears that the independent contractor has incurred some out-of-pocket expenses in addition to the fees s/he charges for services Field Nation's policies and fees do not differentiate between what an independent contractor charges for materials/expenses vs services The fees are based only on the total dollars of the transactionWe do not control the independent contractors pricing of services (rates) or materials or their margins As a recommendation (and what most independent contractors do); (1) if the independent contractor wants to collect $for out-of-pocket expenses or materials, s/he should charge the buyer $through the Field Nation platform ($- Field Nation 10% fee = $90) and (2) the independent contractor needs to report all receipts from Field Nation for services and materials on their form Schedule C and then deduct their out-of-pocket costs for materials If this explanation is not clear, please feel free to give me a call Kent [redacted] ###-###-####

Copying in the provider. He had called in and spoke to a member of our staff At that time he expressed that he was refusing to agree to our terms of use and stated that he would no longer like to be a provider on our platform So per his statement staff removed his access to the platform This is outlined in Section of our terms (URL to view terms is below) Both the provider AND Field Nation have a right to terminate our partnership at any time for any reason The provider has every right and ability to refuse the terms, but if he does then he can no longer work on our platform Removing your account was not "to get back at you" because you didn't want to accept terms We have no issue if you do not do so....however it simply means you will no longer be able to use our services It's just like how you are forced to accept Apple's terms before you can use and set up your iPhone fullyRegarding your payment information, all information housed within our platform was sent to you by the same staff member you spoke to when you said you didn't want to be on the platform any longer Regarding your form for 2015, that was sent to you within the required legal time frame earlier this year If you no longer have a copy of it and need another copy, we do not house tax forms on our website for security reasons So in order to get a copy of your you will need to contact the IRS to obtain a new copy This is typically a very quick process and you would likely already have a copy if you had requested it days ago as instructed to do These terms are laid out in Section of our terms (URL to view terms is below) We are more than happy to reinstate your profile if you would like us to do so and are accepting of the terms So if you would like that done please email [email protected] and we can assist youTerms & Conditions URL: https://app.fieldnation.com/legal/?a=provider

I am rejecting this response because: I requested payment information, etc. for the years of 2015/2016 but I did not request a 1099 for 2015, as I already have that. I also never requested that my account be deactivated or removed in any way. The fact that Field Nation has incorrect information is proof of their inability and/or refusal to work with me and pay attention to details. I am still requesting to either have access to or be given proper, and accurate, payment information for the year of 2016. It is also in Field Nation's best interest to provide or have this information handy as the state of Nevada Unemployment Division will likely be requesting it in the near future. So once again, I ask that I be given access to my account and/or account/payment information (the exact time frame needed, per Nevada Unemployment is 18 months). Also note that I was "grandfathered in" to Field Nation's terms, etc. as I was originally a Field Solutions provider who was moved to Field Nation during the merging/buy out with no further terms/agreement being accepted. This is all information that I have given to Field Nation both through email and on the phone. This only further proves my point that they are either refusing to work with me or are incompetent. Let me repeat one more time, as the response I received did not address my initial concern. I need my payment information and/or access to my payment information, etc. for the last 18 months.

***, to reiterate in my previous message, all you had to do if you needed your profile back on was to email us at [email protected] but you must have missed that. That has already been taken care of and you were already sent the payment information back on Sept 15th as well. The only difference is that it didn't have the service fees removed because we thought you would be able to simply subtract the % from them. However I've taken the liberty of doing that for you and the file is once again attached here. Regarding your comment about the NV Unemployment offices needing this information, please note that contractors are not eligible for unemployment because they are not employedThe Field Nation platform is simply a place for laborers to come and find one off contract work with customers using our platform. You have the freedom to take as little or as much work as you want and decide entirely on what you are willing to do and for what pay. Case in point is why your work history with us is so sporadic. If you were an employee you would be on our Wpayroll, would work regular hours under our direct supervision, etc. As an independent contractor you are not even working anywhere close to what could be considered full time with us and you cannot even get unemployment if you are not "terminated" which we cannot do since you were not employed with us. All of this is laid out on the policies and terms on our legal page which is open to the public and anyone who'd like to read them. Lastly, per your assumption that because you had previously been on the FieldSolutions platform and therefore are not subject to Field Nation's terms and policies, that is incorrect. Field Nation bought FieldSolutions and absorbed it so it no longer exists. You were at that time given the option of continuing to use Field Nation's platform or you could chose not toYou chose to continue doing work USING that platform. And thus are required to accept any/all terms of use going forward in order to continue using the site. However you have always had a choice to NOT accept those terms, but then you cannot use the services....just like any other services that have T&C you have to agree to. If you need further assistance please email us as we have already covered all of your concerns regarding this complaint

Copying in the provider. He had called in and spoke to a member of our staff.  At that time he expressed that he was refusing to agree to our terms of use and stated that he would no longer like to be a provider on our platform.  So per his statement staff removed his access to the...

platform.  This is outlined in Section 14 of our terms (URL to view terms is below).  Both the provider AND Field Nation have a right to terminate our partnership at any time for any reason.  The provider has every right and ability to refuse the terms, but if he does then he can no longer work on our platform.  Removing your account was not "to get back at you" because you didn't want to accept terms.  We have no issue if you do not do so....however it simply means you will no longer be able to use our services.  It's just like how you are forced to accept Apple's terms before you can use and set up your iPhone fully. Regarding your payment information, all information housed within our platform was sent to you by the same staff member you spoke to when you said you didn't want to be on the platform any longer.  Regarding your 1099 form for 2015, that was sent to you within the required legal time frame earlier this year.  If you no longer have a copy of it and need another copy, we do not house tax forms on our website for security reasons.  So in order to get a copy of your 1099 you will need to contact the IRS to obtain a new copy.  This is typically a very quick process and you would likely already have a copy if you had requested it 2 days ago as instructed to do.  These terms are laid out in Section 6.1 of our terms (URL to view terms is below).  We are more than happy to reinstate your profile if you would like us to do so and are accepting of the terms.  So if you would like that done please email [email protected] and we can assist you. Terms & Conditions URL:  https://app.fieldnation.com/legal/?a=provider

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2016/01/14) */
My investigation shows that the customer's (Gametime Tickets / Scott [redacted]) first documented request for withdrawal / refund was received by Field Nation on December 15, 2015. We issued the refund on December 18, 2015 and the check was...

cashed by the customer on January 7, 2016.
We believe this case should be marked as closed.
Thank you,
Kent [redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/01/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Kent, the information you provided above was inaccurate and I can provide documentation to prove that. I first made the request on 10/7/15 and I have emailed correspondence with Field Nation showing that. Something was amiss with the software, I was told over the phone after I called that I would get a call back within 48 hours after the software issue was corrected and that call never came. AFTER contacting Revdex.com I got an email from Field Nation and they got me the refund in a timely manner and the check has been cashed. I would consider this matter closed, its just too bad that we could never find somebody to do the job and I couldn't get my refund in a timely manner and it got to the point I had to go to Revdex.com to get a response from Field Nation.

payments between the parties including 1099 reporting at the end of the year.  For this service, we charge a 10% fee.  In addition, we provide general liability insurance for independent contractors that do not have their own for an additional 1.3% fee.  The insurance fee is not charged if the independent contractor has provided documentation that they have their own insurance.  All of these fees are consistent for all our customers.  Our terms and conditions can be found at fieldnation.ccom/legal.The issue identified in the complaint relates primarily to "expenses".  Based on the description, it appears that the independent contractor has incurred some out-of-pocket expenses in addition to the fees s/he charges for services.  Field Nation's policies and fees do not differentiate between what an independent contractor charges for materials/expenses vs services.  The fees are based only on the total dollars of the transaction. We do not control the independent contractors pricing of services (rates) or materials or their margins.  As a recommendation (and what most independent contractors do); (1) if the independent contractor wants to collect $90 for out-of-pocket expenses or materials, s/he should charge the buyer $100 through the Field Nation platform ($100 - Field Nation 10% fee = $90) and (2) the independent contractor needs to report all receipts from Field Nation for services and materials on their form 1040 Schedule C and then deduct their out-of-pocket costs for materials.  If this explanation is not clear, please feel free to give me a call.  Kent [redacted]###-###-####
