I feel sorry for anyone that buys a new whirlpool refrigerator from *** and has to depend on Fields to repair it I m presently waiting on my 8th call to repair the ice maker dispenser I did without ice for weeks and calls now I have been waiting for weeks on the dispenser of ice to be fixed *** stats the warranty is for repair and Fields is the only company There is No communication from customer to actual repair You can not speak to anyone in supervisory position Basically they just keep making appointments coming and you appliance is still broke FRUSTRATED with a new fridge

I had Fields Appliance come to my home times, then requested they stop calling because every time they came out a new problem was created
We had a thumping sound in our dryer, which we wanted checked out They dryer dried just fineThe service man came out and diagnosed it as a bend in the drum, which did not need to be "fixed" if we didn't mind the thumping Service repairman puts dryer back together, leaves, dryer stops drying
Call, serviceman comes back, states the sensor had failed and needs to be replaced Gave quote for one amountSince this was not a problem before he came out, I wanted to speak with a manager since I felt that it was "caused" by serviceman Serviceman leaves before I am able to discuss with my husband or manager
After multiple phone calls, a lead serviceman was sent out (this is now the 3rd visit) He gives me a differnet quote for the dryer sensor I agree to have it fixedthen the problem changes It is now the motherboard and the price goes up After this, I didn't want Fields in my house to mess up anything else

Gave them one star because you cant post no stars or half stars. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE - RUN AWAY! This is a Whirlpool authorize dealer! Whirlpool should rethink this. From reading the other reviews it looks like nothing has changed.
FIRST service call , on the Whirlpool french door, freezer on bottom, (ice maker not working, freezer drawer would not close) we were told that we needed a new ice maker. New ice maker installed. They chipped the ice out of the bottom of the freezer so the door will close.
Result: NO ICE from ice maker.
SECOND call with senior technician. Repaired a clogged siphon and de-iced the freezer. Result: Still NO ICE. Spoke with Reginald, supervisor, to complain about the quality of service.
THIRD call same technician. Removed the back of the freezer drawer and de-iced again. Result: Still NO ICE and now no water either. Spoke with Reginald again and left a message with the owner Brian F[redacted] -no response from the owner!
Called Whirlpool. They had no history of all these issues because Fields does close the report. NOW A CONTROL BOARD IS ORDERED. HAD TO WAIT 3 DAYS FOR THIS PART.
FOURTH visit. Now their senior regional repairman is to put the control board in. HE DOESN'T INSTALL CONTROL BOARD! HE REPLACES THE SEAL ON THE FREEZER DRAWER. WHY DID HE NOT INSTALL THE CONTROL BOARD --- " HE DIDN'T READ HIS NOTES"
The part is in another location and now we have to wait for it to be shipped and installed . THIS WILL BE THE FIFTH VISIT TO REPAIR THE ICE MAKER. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
Stay away from this company. The only saving grace is the staff - Broke and Theresa- they actually try to help solve the issues.

Terrible service. They came to my home three times and still problem is not solved. First time tech could not fix by himself and did not bring right tools. Second time he did not bring the parts and third time he came at wrong time when we were at work. Fourth time they never showed up. SG company do not use. They do not care to help,

I have never experienced worse service in my entire life. Rude on the telephone, managers are always conveniently out of the office when I request to speak to one, and apparently this bunch is unable to fix anything. I've been waiting over a MONTH to fix a refrigerator under warranty. NEVER accept this company if your appliance warranty selects them.

I had a service all today from [redacted]. He was prompt, courteous and fixed my problem immediately. I would recommend fields appliance services to anyone. Also there staff was extremely helpful and very polite.

Horrible! Technician guessed at what needed repaired on my ice maker after approximately 15 minutes...he had no idea what he was doing! He said the machine needed a complete "low end" replacement. My husband disagreed with him, as he is very familiar with refrigeration units. Technician said "oh no, that is what is wrong, I will order the parts and be back next Monday. When Monday rolled around and my "window" for repair came up I get a phone call saying that one of the parts was shipped damaged and that they have reordered the part, but couldn't confirm when they would get it! SERIOUSLY! Well on Friday I get a call saying that they have the part and will be out Tuesday for the repair. Well today is that Tuesday. Technician showed up with new parts in hand, came in and completely tears apart my ice maker and notifies me that he has to leave to get a tank refilled for his torch so that he can solder the new piece in. WHY was this not done before? After being gone for over an hour he returns and begins servicing my unit...might I add that he is careless with my machine and the surrounding cabinetry...he let the door fall open and hit the cabinet leaving a scuff mark! OUTRAGEOUS!!! After carelessly putting the new parts in my machine he quickly packed up his belongings turned on my machine said the new parts should work and fix the problem and then just as quick left my home leaving a huge mess of mud in his path. He DID NOT STAY TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED!!! What kind of service is that! After waiting a bit to make sure the machine would make ice...which IT DID NOT...I called Fields to let them know that it was still not working...in fact it was doing the same thing when I originally called for service...I was told that the job was complete and the technician said the machine was working properly. WHAT A LIAR! He did not stick around long enough to make sure the unit was working, how would he know? Anyway, they refused to come back to fix the machine. I was told that the job was closed and that I would have to go back through the motions with the warranty company. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP...THE JOB IS NOT COMPLETE, MY MACHINE IS STILL BROKE!!!

This company is BAD all around from incompetent technicians to horrible customer service. I am sure those 5 star review they have are from friend/family trying to cover up all the negative reviews they have gotten, not to mention losing their Revdex.com rating. What a lousy company. Hoping that my warranty company takes my advise and stops using them for repair services...as I would hate for someone else to go through what I have!
