Just because the technician had not yet experienced the fragility of a year old plastic tub breaking during the repair doesn't have anything to do with it being his responsibility or faultA technician with years of experience can have the same thing happen to him, because the problem is with the fragility of the year old plastic breakingBolts rust, metal corrodes, & plastic degrades and becomes brittle and fragileYou can't fight the laws of physicsThe technician that was sent to your home was a factory trained technicianHe may not have had the experience of a year veteran in the industry but he was more than qualified to make the repairs to your leaking washer

Revdex.com:This company has been resolved with the CompanyComplaint number 11796591It can be closed out....Thank you so much for being there....*** * ***

I am rejecting this response because: before we even told the repair guy what was wrong with the microwave, he was complaining when he saw it, and asked why he was there since this was not a stationary microwave. He did not offer an estimate to repair it until we asked him why he came if the business did not repair these types of microwaves. He asked, "How are we suppose to know it was not stationary?" I asked, "How are we suppose to know you don't service these types of microwaves unless your company give us that information?" I told him, "The person on the phone should have asked the correct questions &/or given us their policy to made sure they could service our appliance and you wouldn't be here." Only then he apologize and said he had the switches and offered to repair all of the switches on the microwave for $200.00, but the lowest he could go was $(sounded like he randomly picked a figure)He also told me I could and should go out and buy a brand new microwave for $or lessAfter all of the complaints from him and we did not want him to send us the estimate via email, then, he told us that we had to pay $for the service call;it was his birthday and he did not want to be out there. If the representative on the phone told us their policy (what they do and do not service on the phone), we would not have had them come to our house to pay $for no service or pay $ If this was a reputable company's policies, they would have asked more questions of customers to make sure they could service their products. Customers are not suppose to know which services companies provide unless the company gives them the information. Attached is the email sent which shows they knew it was a countertop microwave*** *** *** *** ***

First off the initial estimate was $and after further inspection of the unit to be installed the technician had to revise the estimate for $at which point the customer gave authorization to technician to perform the workAfter the technician had already started the work to be performed that
was authorized by the customer the customer called the office to express his concerns about the pricing and the the way we provide the estimatesIt is not uncommon for an estimate to be revised as the definition of an estimate is a roughly calculated or approximate calculation of a particular value, quantity, or number to the extent of somethingSo with that being said the technician did revise the original estimate before the work was authorized or startedThe time to express your concern over pricing on a job or repairs is not after you authorize the work it's before you authorize the workWe stand behind our work 100% and if there is any any problems we will be happy to take care of them for youBut a tiny nail poking through some dry wall that is going to be re-textured be cause you're remodeling your home anyway is not a valid reason to get a full refund of work performedHonestly it seems as though you wouldn't have been happy regardless of the outcome even though you thoroughly inspected the job after the technician was finished even using a tape measure to make sure it was exactly where you asked it to be placed before signing the work order after completion of the job acknowledging that the work was performed satisfactorily and there was no damage to the home or propertyOnce again we stand behind our work 100% if there is any problems please feel free to call our office and we will be happy to assist you in any way with regards to the installation of your Range HoodHome Advisor the company that provide the customer for us also had a complaint filed with them on their site and found it to be unsubstantiated and since removed the complaint from my recordThank you and have a great day

The customer had a 14-year old maytag front load Washer with a plastic outer tub, granted I was unaware of the situation due to the technician that came out plastic parts get brittle over time especially years and it's not the technicians fault that the brittle plastic broke during repairs and
it's so old that the factory doesn't make the part anymoreFactory back order pushed ETA to 01/01/And they will most likely make it NLA soon as it appears that they have no intention of making anymoreIt's like saying a rusty bolt broke and it's our faultWe extended a free trip to Davis and free installation of her new appliance a stackable Washer and dryer setWe are not responsible for any portion of the purchase of her new appliance

I am rejecting this response because: As stated prior, the second technician admitted that the first technician was terminated in part due to lack of experienceBut you let him service my washerSee you in court

The technician that came out to the house simply explained to the customer that we don't normally repair counter top microwaves unless installed in a cabinet because they are so cheap to replace. The technician did however explain that the problem she was experiencing with the microwave was because...

of the door switches and the repair cost would be $150 which exceeds the cost of replacement. The customer of course chose not to make repairs and asked why I the person on the phone didn't explain that when she scheduled the call. The question asked by the customer at the time of scheduling the service call was do we repair microwaves? Yes. How much is the service call for diagnosis? $50. Can a technician come out today? Your ad says same day service. Yes, and then I scheduled the service call. I got all of the customers information including the brand of the microwave and simptom being experienced. I did not ask what the microwave costed, whether it was installed or anything related to overall cost effectiveness as the is something we leave up to the technician to determine after inspection and overall diagnosis. We apologize if the customer is not happy with outcome. But the technician did drive out to the residence and provide an estimate for repair.

Just because the technician had not yet experienced the fragility of a 15 year old plastic tub breaking during the repair doesn't have anything to do with it being his responsibility or fault. A technician with 20 years of experience can have the same thing happen to him, because the problem is with the fragility of the 15 year old plastic breaking. Bolts rust, metal corrodes, & plastic degrades and becomes brittle and fragile. You can't fight the laws of physics. The technician that was sent to your home was a factory trained technician. He may not have had the experience of a 20 year veteran in the industry but he was more than qualified to make the repairs to your leaking washer.
