I came it to do a Type C service, an oil flush, fuel filter change, determine why low beam headlights were not working properly and to align/aim my headlights properly. I first off asked the service advisor what the difference was between the Type C and Type D service. He said Type D does not exist anymore and Type C included everything that Type D does. I asked specifically about replacing spark plugs and what other service is included. I really did not get a clear answer other than the spark plugs are changed and oil change is completed. Nowhere on the description on your website does it say that Cabin and Engine air filters are changed. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I noticed that I was charged to replace the 2 filters. I asked the service advisor why this was done because the filters were new (less than a week) and not dirty. He said the techs don't check, they just replace. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I should not be charged for something that is not needed and the tech should have question why a clean filter should be changed when it does not need to. The second item was related to the low beam lights. I was told that it was a coding issue that affected the operation of the high beams, My high beams have always worked so I'm not sure why I was charged to reprogram something that was not required. No one told me about the low beam function until I pressed further to understand the switch function. I should not have been charged 2 hours of labour to get that answer. Third - I asked the service advisor to have someone check the corrosion on the vehicle and I showed him the locations when I dropped the car off. He said he would get someone to look at it. When I picked the vehicle up, no one had looked at it and nothing was said to me until I asked. He asked me to bring it back another time. This is not something that should be said to a customer who has come out of their way to bring their car to your dealership. At minimum, pictures should have been taken and the areas documented when my vehicle was already there. This is unacceptable.
