Review: My few-month old blue silk shirt was dry cleaned by Fifth Avenue Laundromat and Dry Cleaning. It came back with white streaks all over it. When I called it to their attention, the manager [redacted], said they would try to fix it. When I asked what would happen it they couldn't fix it, he indicated they would refund my money since I the receipt and it was bought in December. The shirt came back with discolorations remaining on the back, and the fabric WORN THIN in several spots, and holes in the front. (I would be happy to include images.)[redacted] said they they would only refund 10 times the cost of cleaning: $80. I paid $191 including tax and do not want to loose over $100 for their clear mistake.Fifth Avenue Laundromat's Lic # is[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund the price I bought the blouse for: $191.

This issue is a rare and unacceptable evidence for our company. And we did our best to resolve it. When the manager discussed the amount of a refund with [redacted] she was satisfied with our decision. Therefore, this complaint is a huge surprise. However, we are not going to be able to change the refund policy as of now. Primary reason is a fact that [redacted] has already received a reimbursement.

We made a mistake in the beginning; [redacted] didn't receive a reimbursement. She received our settlement proposal. And she did accept it on the phone with our manager [redacted].
Therefore, we are always ready, willing and able to reimburse her in terms of our policy.
