I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I decline the response because I originally told Mr. [redacted] about the vibration at highway speeds and ask him to take a look and I was will to pay whatever the cost were to fix my vehicle. I trusted in him to diagnose the issue and when he told me that he had found the issue and price I was happy to pay and have him do the work. Upon picking up my vehicle I then noticed that the issue that I had brought the vehicle had not been fixed nor improved. He didn’t even test drive my vehicle upon first inspection of the highway vibration and I was very disappointed to hear this I brought back and after two days he said “ I think it may be your transmission or axle?” But “I DON’T FIX THESE TYPES OF ISSUES” I asked him about the money I paid and he stated, “ I fixed what I THOUGHT it was”. Really… What he thought was totally wrong. Mr. [redacted] claimed in his affidavit that I didn’t have the money to have any more work done. Which is a lie, he refused to help me any further. I took my vehicle to Honda and explained what he had done and there certified mechanic states that the mounts that Mr. [redacted] had claimed to be the issue would NEVER had caused vibration at highway speeds. I have an affidavit to support my claim from Honda. I paid them a lil over $1400 to fix the issue and the money I paid Mr. [redacted] went down the drain. Honda looked at the mounts that he removed and they were not BROKEN only normal ware. I want my money back for the misdiagnosed issue. He is supposed to be the professional  and was guessing about what the issues could be where I went to Honda and they know what is wrong with your car before they fix it and if they are wrong they don’t charge you and send you on your way.

[redacted] is a lair, he never offered to work on my car further nor give me any money back I had to file a complaint with [redacted]. I want all my money back bc of the way I was treated and all the extra money I had to spend to resolve the original issue. Since he wants to keep lying about it and dnt wanna give me money back ill have to look into some of my other options! I was manipulated and robbed by this so called professional, what a joke.

[redacted] AND I TALKED ABOUT THE VIBRATION IN HER VAN,CHECKED TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEMWAS AND FOUND TWO BAD ENGINE MOUNTS THAT WAS LETTING THE ENGINE RUB ON THEFRAME.  TOLD HER MOUNTS NEED TO BE REPLACED BUT MAY HAVE OTHER PROBLEMS THAT I DO NOTSEE AT THIS TIME. MRS. [redacted] AUTHORIZED THIS TO BE DONE KNOWING IT MAY BE OTHER PROBLEMSTHAT MAY NEED REPAIRS. I GAVE HER A PRICE OF THE REPAIRS AND SHE AGREED TO DO THE MOUNTS.THE NEXT DAY SHE CALLED AND SAID VIBRATION WAS BETTER BUT HAD PROBLEMS AT 60 MPH. TOLDHER TO BRING VAN BACK SO I COULD DRIVE AT THAT SPEED. I DROVE VAN AT THAT SPEED AND FOUNDSHAKING IN FRONT END. CALLED HER TO LET HER KNOW THAT IT MAY BE THE AXLES ORTRANSMISSION.  TOLD HER IT WILL BE A CHARGE TO PULL THE AXLES TO CHECK THEM BUT SHE DID NOTHAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND ON CHECKING THEM AT THAT TIME.  TOLD HER TO LET A TRANSMISSIONSHOP CHECK TO SEE IF ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT AND CALL ME BACK. MRS. [redacted] NEVER CALLED MEBACK . NEXT THING I KNOW I GET A CHARGEBACK ON MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT, THIS WAS REVEREDBY MY CREDIT CARD CO. AND MONEY PUT BACK IN MY ACCOUNT.   I AM VERY SORRY FOR HERPROBLEMS AND OFFERED HER 144.00$ BACK ON THE LABOR IN GOOD FAITH BUT SHE TURNED ITDOWN.ID# [redacted]FIFTH STREET AUTOMOTIVE INC[redacted]

Review: This merchant was supposed to fix my vehicle for vibrations on highway speed. The issue wasn't fixed and I had to pay more money to Honda to fix the actual issue. He took advantage of me and charged me for another issue that didn't have anything to do with the real issue.

Mrs. [redacted] and I talked about the vibration in her Honda van so I checked it out and found twobroken motor mounts rubbing the frame. I told her they needed to be replaced but it may be otherproblems that I do not see at this time, Mrs [redacted] authorized thls to be done knowing it may be otherproblems that will be needed. I gave her a price of the repairs and she agreed to do the repairs. The nextday she called end said vibration was better but had vibration at 60 MPH. I told her to br¡ng van back so Icould drive at that speed. I drove van and found shaking in front end. Called her to let her know that itmay be ln the axles or transmission. Told her it wlll be a charge to pull the axles to check them but shesaid she did not have any more money to spend on repairs at this time. Told her to let a transmissionshop check to see if any problem with transmission and call me back to let me know if any problemfound.Mrs [redacted] never called me back. Next thing I know I get a chargeback on my account and don'tunderstand why? Sorry for her problems but I know I did what was wright.Case# [redacted] Fifth Street Automotive Inc.[redacted]
