I have not received the handle as he stated "my bad"Very unprofessional! The warranty he stated would cover transmission and engine problems, not a sensorHe said replaced them which tells me he knows there was a problemI will handle the matter in court with an attorney if the issue is not fixedI told him I would do the labor but I need the two knoc sensors, gasket and door handle.

I did all state inspections as required and sold vehicle with warranty attached Tried to explain to Mr*** to contact warranty company as for repairs Directions were pretty specific and not to keep contacting me He for some reason didn't understand that warranty was not with Fifth Street
Motors but an extended warranty company and they would resolve issue As Mr*** stated vehicle runs perfect and his problem is with a check engine light Handles are $ my bad *** *** Thank you and sorry for delay

To whom it may concern.We would never tell and customer that  there car does not need emission unless there in a non emission co. now for 3600.00 plus admin fee that every dealer charges 99.00 that's why it was 3700.00 As for the safety goes it was completed by state qualified state inspection...

station.We told the customer back then it was AS-IS where is.!  As far as the emissions goes you have 10 days or a 1000 miles to complete emission  If you read an AS-IS WHERE IS buyers guide. Its states all the possibilites of a used AS-IS vehicle ! If the state inspection station missed something that would be on them not us! I'm assuming they waited to long to get car legal then had to get it reinspected again. then the place they took it to was looking to find something to fix to make a buck. I don't know who would take a 3600.00 car to a new car store and hope for them not to find a problem with something. Like most shops do! AS IS WHERE IS Means just that! Sorry but they opt out of any kind of warranty! its kind of sad that a shop would charge 1100.00 for something of that nature. It should've cost no more than 200.00 250.00 My advise is not to By a car AS-IS if your not willing to fix a few thing!We here at 5th street motors try and do are best to be up front and clear about every deal.But sometimes you cant please everyone no matter how clear you are!

The car was given to here passing emissions. She drove the car well over a month and let the emissions expire and did not register the car. She did get a three month warranty saying all hard parts and transmission. She is over her 4500 miles  in the warranty and it does not cover radiators and...

alternators. All of that was fine when she passed emissions. The car left here in good service and this is a solid car.  The information was entered incorrectly and a customer gave a title loan company the wrong VIN number and it just so happened to be the VIN of this car. They took care of the error and released the lien, and I have a copy of the lien release

I am rejecting this response because: as follows. Eureka which is in St. Louis County does require an Emissions Inspection. We were not given a passing emissions Ispection so we had to have one done by law. On May 8. 2017 emissions failed at [redacted]. [redacted] told us maybe it had been sitting around and needed to be driven for couple weeks. So on May 18, 2017 they retested the emissions still did not pass. Also at this time [redacted] told us that the car would not pass safety inspection either. The tierods and oil pan issues were the problems mentioned in the complaint. In response to the assumption of us waiting to long to have car legal you would be incorrect as noted by the above dates. As for the shop overcharging us gor the items that need to be repaired. If you believe they should only cost us $200-250. Then maybe they should be paid for by you. We did not expect a used car to be without any issues but we did expect it to be sage and not need $2000 in repairs begore it is even licensed.  As I have reported the responses given to our complaint pretty well explains what kind of business practices are used at this company. We would like for this companys practices to be noted so that no one else has to experience these issues.
