Filament Realty Management

Filament Realty Management tends to hold landlord funds (rent payments) for extra time and does not remit the amount due to the owner is a timely manner. The property management company (Filament Realty Management) received 1st and last month rent payment for new tenants that take occupancy after two month. The company stated that is has a financial policy to hold on funds until the occupancy date while the funds belong to the landlord and not the property management company. The financial policy stated by the company is not logical and is not included as part of their property management agreement.

Applied for rental on June 18th for july 1st. Was told rental is mine. Still being told. Other ad on internet now with changes.
On June 18th I found a rental that I applied for. ***. Rental application #***. I provided everything that was asked, cosigner, credit, references etc. The lease agent ***, stated that he was pushing and didnt want rental to go to anyone else. I explained my situation, Single mom 5 daughters etc. *** said waiting for lease and owner to decide but it will go to me. My situation is time sensitive and I have been persistent for an answer without recieving one. My co-signer took the liberty to ask for info and they are still showing unit and changed the ad for a higher price. He is able to view property tomorrow June 27th. I stopped looking for rentals when *** told me I would be the new tenant. Them giving me the run around puts me at risks of being without a home as well as a home for my children. I dont know if this is a proper complaint but what they are doing is wrong in so many levels. I am a single mom in a situation were I have to relocate due to abuse. Its wrong what they are doing to me. I have offered first and last months rent as expected. I have done follow ups and still get told be patient. July first is 4 days away. I needed this rental and gone beyond to prove myself for it now with risk of myself and my eldest child being with out home cause of their word when he shouldnt have said I will be the new tenant over and over again.
