With regard to the above referenced complaint, I am unable to respond directly to Ms***' situation since identifying information (such as property name, residency address, dates of residency) was
not providedHowever, I will outline the policies and procedures followed by Filister Enterprises during more than years in the business of apartment rental and managementBased upon the issues addressed by Ms*** in her complaint, the following policies will likely apply to her case
Lease renewals were always sent to residents within the time period designated by MN
statute and included the necessary information relating to required day written notice to vacate and the possibility of automatic 12-month renewal if the required written notice is not receivedThis is information clearly outlined in the signed lease
According to state regulations, CRP's were sent to all residents no later than January 31st
for the previous year, CRP's for the year ended December 31, were sent out by January 31, 2014; for year ended December 31, they were sent out by January 31,
In the event a resident claims that they did not receive their CRP, Filister Enterprises would supply them with a duplicate copy if the request is made before the end of the required retention time established by the state of MinnesotaThis retention time is August 15th of the next year, CRP's for needed to be retained until August 15, 2015; for they must be retained until August 15, Therefore, if Ms*** needs a copy of a CRP for the year 2014, Filister Enterprises will be able to provide this for her; if for an earlier year, it is not availablePlease note that this is in accordance with state requirements
I will not be responding to any further questions related to this case with the exception of a request for a duplicate CRP, if applicableMs*** must work with the collection agency that contacted her regarding any amount owed by her to Filister Enterprises
Filister Enterprises is no longer in the property management business, all properties were sold in December,
