Review: On 12-19-14, I told Mr. [redacted] of Fillmore Auto Electric & Tune-Up that on 12-22-14 after driving 50 miles and stopping for 5 minutes my 1995 Buick Regal would not restart, but did after one hour later. Then at home on 12-29-14 it again would not start. He told me it’s probably the starter caused by the colder than usual weather. He showed his hand held electrical checking device and I asked him to check everything including the battery and left my car at about 11 am. About 5 pm , I picked up my car with a replaced starter and with no problem starting. However, the next morning it again would not start. I took it back on 12-30-14 and again told him to check everything and left it overnight. I picked up my car about 2 pm 12-31-14. He said the problem was not the starter but my 3 year old battery. On 1-31-14 I complained about paying for the starter. He said he had initially asked me how old the battery was and that I replied it was new. I don’t remember him asking or me telling him anything about the battery other than to check it. If I did I should still not be liable for the replaced starter.Desired Settlement: Refund the cost of the replaced starter plus tax: $117.50
