Just noticed today, strip 2 inches wide holding my filter together. My filter size is 24 x36. They pieced together a 12x24 and a 24x24. I’ve been paying for 24x36, so I lose 2 inches of filter capacity.
Canceling.

Six things need to happen in order for this business to warrant an "A" Rating: There IS NO PLACE TO CANCEL or manage the subscriptionIt is certainly not "easy." I had zero problems with the business about how they run their business I was shipped a couple of their filters after I thought I would give them a try I liked the idea of having filters shipped to my home so I could routinely replace them before they got super gross and dirty since I would often forget to purchase them while out in town I HATED the product It was flimsy and didn't hold it's structure yet the filter itself was waaaaaay too thick and restrictive that it blocked so much of the air that my furnace stopped working entirely I didn't realize that was the problem until I had it repaired and all that time and effort was only because of a crappy filter! It was very frustrating I canceled my subscription because I was so upset with the product They received my cancellation and everything got cancelled easily, so that process was smooth and easy So I really didn't have any problems with them other than the fact that they are selling a horrible product that causes your furnace to not work

I came across a really good offer and decided to take them up on it It was a trial offer subscription with discounted filters I had never used any type of service like this before and wanted to try it I was skeptical about having a subscription on file so I wanted to start it then cancel the subscription and test out the product first before making a solid commitment to it I placed the order and a day later it said my filters were preparing to be shipped so I went on ahead and asked them to cancel only the subscription part of the account so that no recurring billing would happen I got an email back from someone named [redacted] and in this email he stated that not only did he cancel the recurring subscription he cancelled the pending order which I did not ask for On their website it states, " If you cancel your Subscription, you will enjoy your Subscription benefits until the end of the then-current Subscription term, and your Subscription benefits will expire at the end of the then-current Subscription term for which you have paid." I sent an email back stating that I did not ask for the pending order to be cancelled, only the subscription His response was, "Our trial offer is designed for customers who would like to try our service and only cancel if they are not satisfied with the serviceSince you did not give us the opportunity to serve you before canceling, I cancelled the pending order and refunded your charge." I responded with "That statement is not entirely true I did in fact give your company the opportunity to serve me and it failed I did so by placing the order and then also by making a request to cancel only the subscription part of the deal You took it upon yourself to not only cancel the subscription but also the pending order, which was not requested I saw nothing in a contract stating that I had to have an active subscription in order to receive the trial offer, nor that the subscription had to remain active until the first shipment was received " That email was never responded to It is apparent to me what type of company this is now One that should never be used by anyone Be very careful around these people

I cancelled my order since I sold my house and would not need these filters.
They don’t provide a notice BEFORE YOU CHARGE THEM, IN THE MONTH THAT YOU CHARGE THEM. This smacks disturbingly of a scheme... hoping people will simply forget. There is an "automatic renewal" for the subscription.
I received and email that the filters are being shipped to a house that I don't even live at anymore.

3. THERE IS NO WAY TO DELETE YOU FINANCIAL INFORMATION FROM AN ACCOUNT. Very uncomfortable with a company that has such poor ethical standards having my credit card information.

Never received any notice of the company name changing, seems like another ploy to hope you get charged for products you don’t need or want.

Customer service is very unfriendly and seems to forget that it is critical to keep your customers satisfied since negative advertising costs more than the refund that the customer is requesting.

I have been using FilterEasy for a while. It’s convenient and the cost is competitive. The problems come in The billing and shipping. When I first joined shipping was quick. They charged your card and then shipped within 24 hours. Now, they bill your card, (mine almost always is charged on a Friday or Saturday), then the filter shipping label isn’t created until a week later. By the time the filter arrives, it about two weeks since they charged me for the filter. I live less than 50 miles from the town the filters ship from. It would be quicker for me to order a filter from California and it be shipped to my house. Usually when a company starts extending shipping times after charging the customer there is a cash flow issue at the company. If they don’t fix the shipping issues I won’t stick around. I can get better rated filters for about the same price locally. Customer service likes to blame the issues on software upgrades. Just my two cents.

Overcharged twice and never got money back after company said they would return money.I joined this company to receive air condition filters thinking it was a good choice, I was wrong. The moment I joined them in October of 2015 they charged me five separate times for one air condition filter totaling $100, they refunded $60 and I was still over charged for one filter. They drafted $40 when the should have drafted $20. Then on 1/11/2016 I was overcharged again and still never received a refund even after I received an email from an associate saying I would be refunded. This company is to me. An error in completing his cancellation on our end caused him to be charged in error. I have refunded the additional charge(s) that Mr. [redacted] received due to our error, and allowed him to keep the filters we sent as an apology for our mistake. Consumer Response I still have not received the charges on my checking account as of 1/25/2016. My position still stands. Glad I cancelled and plan on spreading the word.Final Consumer Response

Received unwanted filter after company said that subscription was cancelled.I contacted them numerous times and they said it was canceled, but received filter today. The customer signed up, and immediately cancelled his account by sending us an e-mail (within minutes of placing his order). We e-mailed him back and advised him we would cancel the order and the pending shipment (since the customer had no intention of continuing a subscription, and our trial is designed for potential customer testing our products). The customer e-mailed back and said "I just want free filters". We advised him that due to his previous cancellation, we would not send free filters to him. Without our knowledge, the customer created a different subscription and attempted to use the promotional code we advised him was no longer valid. This order was successful, and the customer received his free filters. When the customer signed up, he opted for delivery every two months. We recently sent his next shipment, and the customer e-mailed demanding a refund. It was at that point we reviewed all communication from the customer and saw his attempt to get additional free filters after being instructed not to do so. We have had no communication from this customer in regards to his second subscription number. We do not offer refunds for shipped orders beyond our trial period. These free trial offers allow our potential member to receive one free set of filters for their home. Most homes have 1 or 2 returns, with larger homes having 3 or more. Ms. [redacted] selected that her home had 12 filters (the maximum allowed on our site). This would be common for a home of over 10,000 square feet. During fulfillment, FilterEasy compares free trial orders to other homes in the area to ensure that the amount ordered is truly needed, and that potential customers do not take advantage of our free trial offer. In this particular case, the address selected was an apartment. FilterEasy actually delivers to another tenant of Ms. [redacted]'s apartment complex, and that customer uses one filter. Apartments typically use no more than 2 filters, as having 12 large air returns in the wall or ceiling of a small apartment would be not aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, when customers such as Ms. [redacted] attempt to take advantage of a free trial offer, it impacts the future of the program, and can have an adverse effect on FilterEasy's business and customers. FilterEasy has no further option than to block promotions being used by Ms. [redacted] and her address. As a courtesy, FilterEasy did offer Ms. [redacted] to have her second shipment at no charge after paying for her first, and this offer was not redeemed. Based on this, it is FilterEasy's conclusion that Ms. [redacted] attempted to receive multiple sets of filters with no intention of paying or continuing a subscription.

When asked "How many filters do you have?" Mr.[redacted] selected that he had eleven. During fulfillment, FilterEasy compares the order to other homes in the area that we service, and we found that it is highly unlikely that Mr.[redacted] has 11 filters for his home (the average in his area is 2-3). During email correspondence, Mr.[redacted] said that he just wanted the free filter offer. FilterEasy reserves the right to limit or restrict promotions at any time, and since Mr.[redacted] chose to give the incorrect quanity for his order, we will not send him a free shipment or authorize other promotions at his residence. FilterEasy provides free trials as a way to help new customers ensure our service and product work for their lifestyle. When potential customers abuse these promotions, it can hurt our company and the future of these programs. Mr.[redacted]'s account has been cancelled, and he has not or will be charged for any service. The business won't ship my order until 3 months later. When I asked about it they simply cancelled my subscription without explaination or apology. I submitted all my personal info with credit card number and subscribed the filter auto ship service on the business's website. I signed up on 09/05 and was expecting the first order to be shipped as soon as possible. Two days later no shipment update, instead, it says on the order page, the order won't ship until 12/06/2016. This is ridiculous. I sent them email to ask why is that and the representative simply replied that he had cancelled my subscription as I requested. This is beyound rude and unprofessional! It may have been a simple misunderstanding regarding her initial shipment date, but FilterEasy was advised to just cancel the account, so we proceeded with the customer's request (which is our policy). Consumer Response I didn't select first shipment date as 12/06, however, I did select shipping frequency is every 3 months. It seems the business did a smart calculation by choosing not to ship the first one which is by default ASAP for any major subscription service. In the mail I said I was expecting it to be shipped ASAP, and if for any ridiculous reason they are not willing to ship it soon then please cancel my subscription. The business's response is cherry picking and their message to me was without any explanation as to my question why the shipment date is 12/06, which leaves customer confused and angry, especially for some items they probably need urgently for health issues, like the air filters they provide.Final Business Response We sent a cancellation confirmation as requested, in writing to the customer via email. Due to the customer's email, the account was cancelled prior to fulfillment, and they have not been billed. Customer's email did not give FilterEasy the opportunity to address the issue (which appears to have been a mistake during account signup), and the email from the customer contained verbiage such as "CANCEL MY ORDER!!!". FilterEasy complied immediately, and sent a cancellation confirmation via email.

I used a promo code for free filter, and they refused to honor it.Desired SettlementI want the filter that should be honored according to their advertisement.Business Response FilterEasy offers promotions, including free trials for new customers. The free trial is designed to give potential members the opportunity to try FilterEasy, and if they like the service, continue to be a member. The promotion that Mr. [redacted] attempted to use is designed for new residential customers to receive one free set of filters for their home. FilterEasy even covers the cost of shipping. During fulfillment, FilterEasy verifies the amount of filters required by the customer if it appears to be out of the norm. This was the case in Mr. [redacted]'s order. Based on our investigation, it is FilterEasy's conclusion that Mr. [redacted] intentionally abused the promotion by attempting to order more filters than needed for his home. When FilterEasy contacted him to clarify his order details via email, Mr. [redacted] responded requesting that we cancel his account. FilterEasy immediately complied, and cancelled the account prior to Mr. [redacted] ever being billed. FilterEasy sent Mr. [redacted] a confirmation of his cancellation, and Mr. [redacted] responded via email by cursing at our associate. FilterEasy offers the free trial promotions as a courtesy to our new members, so that they may feel confident that they are satisfied with our product and service, prior to making any form of payment. Unfortunately, when customers like Mr. [redacted] abuse these promotions, it can negatively impact the future of these offers.
