Pursuant to our phone call, to follow is our information related to the *** orderThis project was originally sent out to bid in August (8/1/14)Our customer service associate, Erin F., provided a quote at that time for preliminary panel sizesIt was not until December (12/16/14) that
we received a reply and a request for a second quotation for revised panel sizesA quote was submitted, and then again on 12/22/14, a third request for quotation with additional revised panel sizes was submittedEach time a request for quotation was submitted, a new drawing was submittedThese drawings were architectural drawings of the reflected ceiling planOn January 13, 2015, we received an e-mail for the *** Habitant Ceiling Shop which included two drawings which were oriented differently and had different dimensionsOur customer service associate reached out to *** *** asking for clarification on the panel sizesErin asked if the drawing is showing the actual panel sizes, or the frame that the panels will sit in? The “Suspended Ceiling” drawing and the PR#drawing from 1/8/have different sized panelsPlease confirm the actual panel sizes so I can quote again for final pricing*** ***’s reply to Erin was see notesUpon this response, Erin submitted a quote that outlined all of the panel dimensions and quantities that she thought was correctShortly thereafter, we received a purchase order that referenced our quote and included a copy of our quote with all of the dimensions and quantities submitted by ErinIf in fact these were the incorrect panel sizes, the quotation should have been questioned before submitting a purchase orderIt appears as though they never reviewed the quotation to confirm that the quotation and dimensions submitted were in fact correct or incorrectWhen it was determined that there was an issue with panel sizes, a new PO was placed and we were never asked at any time to discount because on an error on our part or to replace at no chargeIncluded with this e-mail are copies of the last two drawings we received, a copy of our quotation, and a copy of the purchase order
