On Dec 16, 2014, [redacted] placed an order with Fin Fun Mermaid which totaled $ Information available on our website about our 30-day warranty and Returns Policy can be found at this link: http://www.finfunmermaid.com/orders_returnsCustomer ** [redacted] did not contact Fin Fun about her order until 4/21/2015, which is months after her order was placed She complained of quality issues for product only which was a size Asian Magenta mermaid tail for $ Fin Fun replied to her concerns by thanking her for bringing this matter to our attention and by requesting she email us photos of the merchandise in question Fin Fun has no record of a reply from ** [redacted] at that time with the requested photosAfter another months Fin Fun received an email on 8/12/from ** [redacted] stating she ‘just realized’ she had not received a reply from Fin Fun concerning photos she reports to have emailed She was informed that we had not received heremail with the photos and would she please email them again On 8/16/2015, months after the order was placed, Fin Fun received a photo showing holes in the fabric caused by extended use of the productAlthough all warranties and refund policies had expired and the product had been used, Fin Fun offered to refund ** [redacted] 50% of her purchase price for the $tail which is $ ** [redacted] obviously did not accept the offer because she then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and filed a chargeback claim with her credit cardDue to the chargeback nearly months later, we will discontinue to seek to provide her a replacement product and see what her bank decides to do with the chargebackIf the chargeback is denied then we are willing to offer our 50% discount for a replacement productWe feel we have been responsive, but due to the length between her response to us it has become very difficult to solve her problem as she would like

not contact Fin Fun about her order until 4/21/2015, which is months after her order was placed. She complained of quality issues for 1 product only which was a size Asian Magenta mermaid tail for $57.95. Fin Fun replied to her concerns by thanking her for bringing this matter to our attention and by requesting she email us photos of the merchandise in question Fin Fun has no record of a reply from *** at that time with the requested photos. After another months Fin Fun received an email on 8/12/2015 from *** stating she ‘just realized’ she had not received a reply from Fin Fun concerning photos she reports to have emailed. She was informed that we had not received heremail with the photos and would she please email them again. On 8/16/2015, months after the order was placed, Fin Fun received a photo showing holes in the fabric caused by extended use of the product. Although all warranties and refund policies had expired and the product had been used, Fin Fun offered to refund *** 50% of her purchase price for the $tail which is $28.98. *** obviously did not accept the offer because she then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and filed a chargeback claim with her credit cardDue to the chargeback nearly months later, we will discontinue to seek to provide her a replacement product and see what her bank decides to do with the chargebackIf the chargeback is denied then we are willing to offer our 50% discount for a replacement productWe feel we have been responsive, but due to the length between her response to us it has become very difficult to solve her problem as she would like

We contacted the customer, listened to her complaint and agreed to send her a replacement product and a free protector kit that reduces damage to the tailThe customer seemed satisfied with this solution so we believe this case should be closed

With this particular swim tail we refer to it as a "costume tail" and not a swim tailWe sell it for less than the other tails on our website and give many warnings that it is not as durable in pools as our other fabricsStill, even without knowing that they had filed with the Revdex.com we
went ahead and offered a credit for a replacement tail to make the customer happyBelow is the email from our customer service repThe name is not the same as what was on the complaint but the address and last name match the address listed on the Revdex.com complaint form.Warm Regards,*** ***CEO*** *Thank you for your responseAt this time, as a one time courtesywe invite you to choose another color and we will send a replacementtailIf you prefer, we can replace it with the original size andcolor, but we can no longer guarantee this fabric to be used in thepool but now classify it as "costume grade" only. The replacement tail needs to be equal in price to the defectivetailIf you want a replacement that is higher in price we will emailyou a request for the additional price differenceWe will also refundthe price difference if the replacement item is less than the originalitem.Please reply to this email with your new color choice and we willship the replacement as soon as we hear from youIt is not necessaryfor you to return the defective product. This complaint by the customer was justifiedIn researching our records we saw that an email had been escalated but some how got missed in the processingToday, when we received your letter, I reviewed the original email and did discover that it was a product defectWe immediately called the
customer and provided a full refund.***

Our service manager contacted the customer regarding this complaint on June 15, 2016. After reviewing the photos he determined that indeed it was a defective tail and was already in the process of mailing a new replacement tail prior to us even receiving this complaint. The customer will be...

receiving their new tail skin as requested and this complaint should be closed.
