I don't even know where to start. By far the worst experience from a business EVER. I am not one to write a poor review, but this is warranted. I would steer clear of this place. Not professional, dirty, and rude. I am in shock of how poorly I was treated and how awful my nails look. Mariah initially did my nails (3/29/18) & they looked terrible. It took 1.5 hours to do a partial fill and one hand a full set. I wasn't happy when I left, but I am not a mean person, so I tipped her anyway and thought that I would just deal with it. They were so bad.....they lifted and chipped after less than 24 hours. She also barely spoke to me. I kept initiating conversation and she still wouldn't speak. I called back a fews days later, after getting back into town and politely called in and asked if someone could fix them...I was the one apologizing because I felt bad asking for someone to repair them...Alejandra was who I spoke to when asking to book an appointment to get them fixed. She didn't apologize once or say they would be happy to fix anything. She just said, “Yea. we can make you an appointment”. I made an appointment for 4/3/18. I knew I shouldn’t have gone back. When I went in to have my nails repaired, Alejandra was extremely rude to me. She told me she didn't have time to fix my nails how I wanted and she said, "it's up to you if you want to go somewhere else to get them fixed".....what? What employee says that? I told her I wanted my nails fixed.....they were literally chipping, there was acrylic on my nails, and the shape was horrid. One of the other nail techs in the salon must have called the owner, Jordyn, because she just so happened to call the nail tech who started working on my nails. The nail tech handed me her cell phone, then said, "Here, the owner wants to talk to you.....". Then, Jordyn got on the phone...mind you....not addressing ANY concerns...but she explained that they didn't have time to "fix someone else's work". HER EMPLOYEE DID THE WORK. I had 4 nails filled from the place I always go to. She was incredibly rude as well. As a business owner myself I am appalled and sad that people do business like this. It is Jordyn's job to make the situation right. I was just asking for my nails to be fixed. I have photos of what they looked like. Any nail technician would be horrified. I am so shocked she has a business. She needs some training. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and I haven’t ever experienced something so awful. Not once did Jordyn OR Alejandra try to make it right. She also told me, "we can't just give you this service again and not charge you". I never said I wanted anything free. I was even happy to pay to have them fixed. I thanked her on the phone and walked out of the salon WITH MY NAILS not even done. One hand was buffed and that's it. I am never going back there. Jordyn should honestly be embarrassed of her staff and herself. If you want awful nails and to be treated poorly, this is the place for you!

We are sorry about your experience here at Glitz salon. As a business owner you know I have spend a lot of time investing in my employees. The mistake on our part was not removing the remaining nails when you came in originally, which was the what I was referring to when I said we couldn’t fix someone else’s work. We cannot guarantee the work of other salons. Here at Glitz we encourage our technicians to ask questions during the service and also upon completion of the service to ensure these type of incidences don’t occur. We did indeed set aside some time to fix your nails and are sorry that you did not allow us to fix them to your satisfaction.

Your comment doesn’t make sense. Your employee did an awful job & you weren’t willing to fix it. I paid a lot of money for a service that was awful. Would you want crooked, thick, paint chipped and lifted nails?? I don’t think so. Maybe the state board should get involved to see if your girls have their licenses? Maybe you need some training yourself.

We just received an A from the State Board, and all nail Technicians are licensed. You wanted a free full set from work from a DIFFERENT salon and we do not give free work. You had one chipped nail that we were willing to fix, but you demanded a new set. We have been open almost 4 years and produce the best nails in the valley, and we stand behind our work. You came in with nails from another salon with different product than we use, and were missing half your nails. You refused to pay for a new set. Seems to me you need to find a nail technician and stick to them if everywhere you go your nails come off or there is a problem. Good luck to you.
