I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below.
While the apology received from the business is sincere and heartfelt, I do not believe it fully compensates for the business's poor service in my situationI did not detail all interactions I had in dealing with the business in my previous remarks as I wished to be succinct in my writingI had first contacted the business in mid December when I received my improperly handled remainsIn talking to a representative, the man I spoke to attempted to shift blame to the veterinary clinic I had ordered the service through for the spilled ashes while I informed him that the clinic does not touch the delivered remains other than to place tags on their bags to return them to their proper ownersThere would have been no reason for any party at the clinic to open the ashes and screw the urn lid back on improperlyThe representative then asked what could be done to undo the situation and I, having lost two pets within twenty-four hours of one another and then finding one of them had been treated with haste and little respect during cremation, was in no place to determine what course of action was to be takenAlthough the business had no clue as to what the particulars of my situation were, they should have plans in place on the chance that a client may be in a situation like my own wherein their pet’s remains had been mishandledA business cannot operate under the assumption that no client will ever have issue with the remains they received and should have a standard course of action to follow in these situationsAfter my initial unsatisfactory dealings with the business, being able to fully process my grief, and then attempting to contact the business again only to be treated more poorly than before has led me to feel that a refund for the improper service provided is the fair and just way to neutralize the situation

It is not customary for our crematory technician referred to in the complaint to receive...

calls on our main number.  It was in poor judgement that we didn't probe further in order to determine that Ms. [redacted] had a valid concern. We sincerely apologize for this and want it to be made known that we have taken corrective action to ensure that this does not occur again.In response to Ms. [redacted]'s claims that that urn was not properly closed, we sincerely apologize if this is in fact the case.  It is with sincere honesty that we do not ever receive this type of complaint.  In any case we take all complaints with the utmost seriousness and have spoken with our crematory team, quality assurance team and management team to ensure that all procedures are being followed when caring for a client's loved one's remains.Having been faced with the loss of our own pet, we understand the great impact of the loss and most certainly empathize with our client's pain.  We strive to always ensure that we are thoughtful, considerate and supportive during this difficult time.  We are very sorry if we caused any further pain through this difficult time.Sincerely,[redacted]
