I am rejecting this response because: After reading the response from the owner of Final Touch [redacted]'s response was as followed.     I first called the salon and the lady did not say that I needed to bring a parent because at first my aunt was going to just drop me off but I asked her to stay with me.  I made it clear that I was paying with my own Christmas money, that I was 15 and that my aunt only stayed because I wanted her to.  When I went into the salon; the lady did not say that the color wouldn't work until she was already coloring it and already noticed that I had it colored brown.  She then said that it would be a golden blonde but the toner would help that.  When she rinsed my hair out I started crying because the color was an awful orange-yellow color and she missed a good chunk of my roots because she was scared to burn my head.  I kept telling her that it was fine and it wasn't that bad; she said she would touch it back up tomorrow and that she could put the toner on it to take the orange-yellow away or color it back brown if I didn't like the color after the toner.  The next day I came back and she put the toner on my hair and fixed the missed part; I still wasn't satisfied but it did look better.  I did tell her it looked better and I liked it and just left because I didn't want her touching my hair after dying it the color I didn't want and then telling me it would be what I wanted after the toner.  I was just done with the whole thing at that point.  It was my Christmas vacation and I finally went home after 2 weeks off of school and my step mom who's a hair saw my hair and I told her that it was not what I wanted by far and that is why it took us so long to get back to Final Touch and tell [redacted] that I didn't like my hair and that I wanted my money back. These were [redacted]'s own words that she wrote herself in response to Final Touch.

the stylists that booth rent in my shop. [redacted] had a consultation with them both discussing [redacted]'s hair and what [redacted] wanted done with it. 2/3 of [redacted]'s hair had been colored and had a few highlights. [redacted] wanted ash blonde highlights, a lot of them. [redacted] told them that wouldn't be possible due to old color.
[redacted] did think and explained to them soft golden highlights could be achieved with a toner after highlighting. [redacted] and her Aunt agreed. [redacted] also asked [redacted] if her head was sensitive to bleach, her response was no. As [redacted] proceeded with first highlighting [redacted] asked to be careful because she was sensitive to some products, [redacted] proceeded with caution. While rinsing out product [redacted] noticed she did not get close enough to the scalp in 2 small areas in the front so she informed [redacted] and her Aunt that she would have to retouch those 2 spots before toning.
[redacted] started to cry. Her aunt and [redacted] asked what was wrong? She said it was orange. [redacted] and the Aunt reminded her about the toner. The Aunt said they would have to come back the next day because she had her 6 week old baby with and needed to go home. [redacted] agreed. [redacted] paid [redacted] $80 for her services, [redacted] gave her back $5. [redacted] questioned the change. [redacted] explained she only took tips when clients were happy. The following day [redacted] returned with her Aunt. [redacted] fixed the front areas she had missed, then put on toner. [redacted] loved it when she was done and so did her Aunt! [redacted] asked if they were happy? They said yes. On January 13, 2015 [redacted], [redacted]'s step mother, called demanding [redacted]'s money back because [redacted] had ruined her hair! [redacted] told [redacted] it was against the law to keep the money from a minor when services were bad. [redacted] not knowing about laws for minors agreed. After hanging up [redacted] pulled [redacted]'s client card and noticed it had been 18 days since service! The other girls in shop helped look up the law [redacted] had mentioned. Nothing could be found. [redacted] called [redacted] back and told no law exists like the one she had mentioned and that 18 days had gone by.
[redacted] said that in the circumstances she couldn't return her money but she would look at it and determine the problem. [redacted] refused and said that we should know that [redacted] did a bad job because [redacted] had such a horrible panic attack that the shop had to call an ambulance. [redacted] told her she didn't know what she was talking about, when [redacted] left she was very happy. [redacted] said sorry that must have been a different shop. [redacted] asked again for her to bring [redacted] down. [redacted] again refused and said she was going to turn us into the labor board. [redacted] told her to do what she felt was needed. I feel [redacted] is a very good hairstylist.
She been in the business for over 20 years and she has worked in my shop for over 10 years. We have never had any issues! I do have issue with her waiting 18 days, if she is also a hairstylist like she claims she knows people report problems within 24 hrs. I don't feel they are entitled to any reimbursement or products. [redacted] went out of her way to help and make it right and they refused to even bring [redacted] back to the shop. What was done to her hair over those 18 days?

Review: The date was approx 26-27 January 2015 when my 15 year old step-daughter ([redacted]) went to Final Touch Hair & Nail Salon with her aunt to spend her Christmas money on getting her brown hair turned blonde. After sitting in the chair for about three hours processing; the Beauty Operator ( [redacted] or [redacted]) rinsed her hair. As soon as [redacted] saw her hair she started to cry and said "I hate it"; when asked why [redacted] stated "because it is orange". The Beauty operator then stated that she could fix the problem but [redacted] would have to come back the next day. [redacted] did come back the next day; but before the Beauty Operator was even able to perform toning process she had to fix the Brown new growth that she had missed the day before; it was then she was able to put a toner on it to try to tone down the orange in [redacted]'s hair. After another two hours in the chair and the toner rinsed out; [redacted] said it looked a lot better but it was still orange. The Beauty Operator told [redacted] that it should be better once she shampooed a few times and if she did not like it that [redacted] could come back and the Beauty Operator would color her hair back to brown. After arriving back home that day [redacted] realized that her hair was still too orange. She did not want to go back to that salon and had no more money to fix her problem. After calling and asking for [redacted]'s money back; [redacted] or [redacted] denied monetary value and offered her services. It is bad enough if an adult were go in there and receive these services; what is worse is it was a young girl that was totally mortified after this experience. To top it all off the service was supposed to total $75 on the first day though when they were don the Operator actually asked "would you like your change back or can I have it for a tip"? Who does that in the service Industry? I also work in this industry and could not imagine asking for more. When I spoke to her she was willing to refund [redacted]'s money then she called later on to only offer her services which were denied.Desired Settlement: [redacted] does not want any more services from Final Touch Hair & Nail Salon; though she would accept conditioning products in the same amount of the $80 that was received for the service or the monetary value of $80 dollars.
