Review: My question is, Is a Collection Agency allowed to call my work boss’s phone to harass me about paying a bill?

Auto payments were set up in January, (they only took a few, when they lowered the payment in March) and took the lowered payment.

Sent me a note on Monday saying attempts to contact me !! (My wife sent a note back on Monday asking what’s the problem, AUTO payments are setup!)

Then on Wednesday they call MY BOSS!?!?!? No contacting is known, unless their calling my number and hanging up with not leaving a message, I DO HAVE A LOT OF HANGUP CALLS. I don’t know who their from because my phone doesn’t keep a record.

Here’s a copy of their statements sent to us (not even deducting the whole $75, yet $75 is auto paid). AND now statements have stopped coming. And a copy of our records trying to pay off!Desired Settlement: Contact by mail, so a paper trail can be fallowed.

Review: This company is trying to collect on a debt that was settled by bankruptcy. The company that they are collecting for has received multiple letters from my attorney to cease collection efforts due to the bankruptcy settlement, yet the collection is still listed as open in my credit report.Desired Settlement: Cease collection and remove from my credit history.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: On August 26th 2013, I contacted this company because my bank informed me of outstanding collections on my credit account. I contacted this company to ask for an itemized statement with dates of service for the health care provider that submitted these bills as I beleived the billings amounts to be incorrect. The woman I spoke with said she would nopt send me an itemized statement becasue she said we had spoke previously and set up payment arrangements and I was not paying. I told her that was not true and that our previous conversation was again for an itemized billing request as I beleived that the totlas were incorrect. She got very snippy with me and said I can give you the conversation and I got snippy back and said yes I would like that but in the mean time if you would like me to get these bills taken care of I want detailed statements. She continued to be very nasty so I asked her why this comany always has to be such [redacted]. She said she would be ending the call and I told her fine I would be reporting the company to Revdex.com and I would be disputing the items on my credit report which I am in the process of doing since they refuse to give me an itemized listing for the second time now. She said go ahead we will show them you were calling us names. I found this pretty funny and told her to go ahead and do that and hung up. Why are these collection agencies allowed to get away with this. Am I able to take legal action against this company for refusing to provide me with the detaied billing so I can at least know what they claim I owe and verify it before just handing them money? Why are they allowed to treat people so horrible and get away with it? I have not received a single statement from them and then when I call to find out what exactly I owe they refuse to send me a detailed billing?Desired Settlement: I want a detailed listing of the dates of services from [redacted] and the amounts claimed so I can follow up and verify I do in fact owe this money. I would assume many people deal with this from these horrible agencies but I am simply trying to get information to verify and pay whatever it is that I have outstanding and they are trying to make it impossible.....could it be they do not have the information and are trying to bully me into paying something I may not owe? I do not beleive all of my claims were properly submitted to my health insurance and I would like to go ahead and do so, so that I only owe the amount they do not cover. I think these people are afraid if I do that, they wont get all of their money because of course the claims would be payable to the provider.

Review: I had sent in a $50 check to a company to hold a date for catering for my wedding. My check bounced because the bank tried to withdraw the money from my line of credit instead of my checking account. The company then sent me and my fiancé to collections (Finance Systems of Green Bay). I called and talked to my bank about this, they assumed full responsibility for the mistake and called Finance Systems of Green Bay to explain this in hopes of removing our check from the collection agency and paying the $50 and then not charge us the $38 fee. The representative from my bank spoke with [redacted] who was very rude and refused to help her out at all. So, I called and spoke to [redacted] to find out if we can drop this because it wasn't our fault, it was our banks mistake. I explained that I do not believe we should have been sent to collections for something that was not our fault. [redacted] was VERY rude to me as well and talked to me as though I was an it. She was unwilling to help out in any way. I work for a company that has to send people to collections (we use a different area collection agency) and I have never dealt with anyone at that agency as rude as [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $38 charge and have this issue resolved by having it removed from mine and my fiancés credit report

Review: I sent a written request, with payment, stating that I disputed the bill and wanted verification of the debt. Finance Systems of Green Bay never responded to the request, but garnished my wages. When I called to attempt equitable payment arrangements, [redacted] told me then that the payments I was making were not enough. I told him that he didn't offer an amount that he did want, but went straight to garnishment. Finance Systems of Green Bay never once gave me a payment amount they wanted nor did they ever say that I was paying too little. They simply went for the jugular. Further, since I had asked for, and never received verification of the debt, he is in violation of the FDCPA and, since my credit report is not listed as disputed, he's also in violation of the Fair Debt Reporting Act.Desired Settlement: I don't owe this debt. All I want is that, while I'm fighting it, I'm given the opportunity to make affordable payments on it so that I can pay my other bills and keep a roof over my head.

Review: I have attempted to receive an invoice of why I am being charge from this company. I have sent them three messages and have not gotten a reply from them at all.Desired Settlement: If in fact I do owe money this will be paid but I will need a copy of an invoice stating exactly what I am being charge for. If the this company cannot submit an invoice you they will not receive payment.

I sent them a message every time I logged into to the website and never heard anything back. Above is my current address if they would like to attempt to send me the invoice. The only communication I received from they was asking to send them money and had no description of what the money was for, furthermore I have not received any phone calls from this company.
