Review: Their tellers are rude and rarely know how to handle questions about my account. Besides constant terrible banking service, which I get most times I converse with them, I am told I am not allowed to have an online account if I do not have a checking account. Besides the fact that every bank has the ease of online baking these days, I have 2 accounts with them that they do not consider needing an online account. I have a credit card account and a savings account. Every credit card I own has an app and more, where I can check my balances daily, and hold the luxary of comfortable using and spending. I can deal with the fact the bank isn't that advanced, but forcing me to wait in a long line to converse with rude tellers when I don't have to? Some of the tellers have given me access to an online account but when I accidentally locked myself out of the account and needed a password reset, half the tellers tell me I never should have had an account in the first place, and they tell me as if they are GLAD to give this bad news! My only way around this is going in more then one occasion and a wait for a teller who will unlock my account again. They act like it's a 'rule' but if it is, only half the tellers love to throw it in my face, the other half must be unaware. Its terrible for any business practice in this century to refuse to their consumers the ease of access to their account. They wouldn't have such long lines all the time of they embraced the year 2015 and opened online accounts to their other account holders. I would close my credit card account in a heartbeat if it weren't for the fact closing accounts shorten the average length of my credit history. Because then I would be gone. Can't believe this place won Best of San Joaquin. I will definitely be telling residents of san joaquin of my distaste.Desired Settlement: Allow access to online banking for credit card users.

Reopen access to my online account.

Review: I filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and included a credit card I had with FCCU. The bankruptcy was paid in full and discharged in Aug 2014. The account is still showing on my credit report. This is a violation of bankruptcy laws. The case number is [redacted]. The trustee is [redacted] out of atlanta ga. The attorney is [redacted] attorneys, of atlanta ga. Their telephone number is [redacted].Desired Settlement: Please remove this account from my credit report because it was filed under bankruptcy and discharged. Thank you .

Review: I HAVE AN AUTO LOAN THROUGH FINANCIAL CENTER CREDIT UNION. THEY REFINANCED MY CAR WITH OUT AUTO INSURANCE. THEY ADDED CPI INSURANCE WHICH I AGREED TO. APPARENTLY, THE INSURANCE ENDED WITH OUT NOTIFICATION,A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE CREDIT UNION SAID THEY SENT OUT 2 NOTICES THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE. FROM DECEMBER THROUGH FEB THERE WAS NO INSURANCE ON THE CAR WHICH CAUSED MY PAYMENT TO GO DOWN WITH NO NOTIFICATION AS WELL. THEY SAID EVERYTIME I GO IN TO MAKE MY PAYMENT ITS ON MY RECEIPT. I MAKE MY PAYMENTS USING BILL PAY FEATURE ONLINE WITH ONE OF MY OTHER INSTITUTIONS. THE OVER PAY WAS APPLIED TO PRINCIPLE AND NOT TOLD TO ME AS WELL. THEN THEY BACK DATED INSURANCE AND CHARGED IT TO ME ON A BACK DATED OPTION. I CALLED IN 1/09/2014AND ASKED FOR INFO ABOUT THE INSURANCE WAS PAYING FOR BUT NEVER RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION ABOUT IT. AND ALSO, TOLD THEM THAT I WAS GETTING FULL COVEREAGE INSURANCE. THEY DID NOTSTATE THEN THAT THERE WAS NOT INSURANCE ON THE CAR NOR ABOUT AND BACK DATING OF FEES. ON 02/14/14 I CALLED IN TO FINANCIAL CENTER CREDIT UNION AND TOLD THEM I I HAVE FLL COVERAGE INSURANCE AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE INSURANCE THEY WERE CHARGING ME FOR WAS NO LONGER ON MY ACCOUNT. THEY ASSURED ME IT WOULD BE BACK DATED. I SENT MY FIANCE IN TO THE CRDDIT UNION TO MAKE OUR CAR PAYMENT AND WAS TOLD TO MAKE THE PAYMENY MINUS THE INSURANCE. I CALLED IN TODAY TO MAKE SURE THEY RECEIVED THE INSURANCE INFORMATION AND THAT I WAS NOT BEING CHARGE FOR THEIR INSURANCE. I WAS TOLD ON 01/27/2014 THEY BACK DATED INSURANCE FOR THE CARD EVEN THOUGH I WAS MAKING THE PAYMENTS WITH THE INSURANCE. SO NOW I HAVE A BILL OF $119. AND CHANGE. WHICH WAS NEVER DISCLOSED TO ME.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE THE BALANCE DUE REVERSED TO A 0 BALANCE SINCE NO NOTIFICATION WAS RECEIVED BY MAIL, EMAIL, PHONE CALL ETC.

Review: Financial Center Credit Union of Stockton CA financed two vehicles of mine. These vehicles were a 2008 [redacted] 300 and a 2005 [redacted] motorcycle. I was having financial issues after being layed off from work and stated to FCCU I wanted to voluntarily surrender the [redacted] 300. The credit union refused pick up the vehicle and I fell further behind in payments. After being behind for 30 days, FCCU froze all my assets and blocked all cards associated with my checking and savings account.. Shortly afterwards the [redacted] fell behind 25 days. on the 26 day I sent my monthly payment to the credit union in the correspondence received demanding that monthly payment. On the Money Order, I designated what loan it was for and the amount. The credit union received the money order on the 30th of July. Instead on applying the money order to my loan to bring it current they put the payment in the blocked savings account and repossessed the [redacted]. I called the finance department and asked why my payment was not applied as I requested.. I also asked why the [redacted] had been reposed because I complied as the demand letter stated. The Finance department agent (Eric), stated the only way you can get your [redacted] Back is to pay the full amount of both loans ([redacted] 300 and the [redacted])and credit card. He further stated, until all of this is satisfied, Financial Center Credit Union will not return the [redacted] nor will we unblock your debit or credit card or unfreeze your accounts.. I stated to the agent, the [redacted] loan was bought current before it was repossessed but FCCU refuse to apply the payment.. Nowhere in my banking agreement or in any of the two separate contracts for the [redacted] 300 or [redacted] does it states Financial Center Credit Union has the express or implied authority to: 1. Freeze all my separate banking assets if loan becomes delinquent. 2. Have the authority to refuse to apply received demanded payment before repossession.Desired Settlement: Return of [redacted] assets unblocked (debit card), account unfrozen punitive fines and damages to FCCU for Unfair Collection practices.

I am rejecting this response because: I am rejecting this response because: I have received my Motorcycle back from FCCU but my vehicle was damaged and still wrongfully repossessed due to the error of the Credit Union. All of my accounts, debit cards and credit cards remain locked and blocked from use. I continue to state that Financial Center Credit Union has violated Fair Collection practices.. At this point I have been forced to utilize my current insurance carrier to repair the Motorcycle.

Review: Back in early 2011 I refinanced my 2005 Chevy Tahoe with Financial Center Credit Union at the Manteca, CA branch. I wanted a 5 yr (60 month) plan which I got but now they're telling me that my current payment was based on a bi-weekly plan not monthly meaning I still owe $8,475 of a $20,000 car loan with less than a year to go. This is definitely not right & not what I signed up for. That means I still owe over 40% even though I've been making monthly payments for 4 yrs since early 2011. There was no way I could've afforded making payments twice a month which would have amounted to over a total of $800 monthly. The reason I was trying to re-finance in the first place was to get a lower payment & lower interest rate. I've tried few times over the last few years to find out when my last payment will be because the amount I still owe didn't seem correct to me. Nobody could give a specific answer until today. Based on their mistake I'm gonna have to continue making payments until 2017 for a 2005 re-financed vehicle. I'm not happy about this because I wanted to pay this off in 5 yrs (60 months). I never agreed to a bi-weekly plan & wanted a 5 yr (60 month) plan. I've been making monthly payments for 4 yrs now & should owe a lot less than $8,475 with less than a year to go to finish paying off my car loan.Desired Settlement: To continue making the same monthly payment for the remainder of my 5 yr (60 months) contract & have it considered payed in full. This should be Jan/Feb of 2016.
