We have being doing business with Financial Help Service for several months At the end of September 2014, Financial Help Service Representative requested/demanded that the entire monthly payment be made at the first of the month instead made in two 50% payments at the first and fifteenth We complied with this demand We have seen that no payments to creditors have been made in October Attempts have been made to speak to the Financial Help Service people They are called and we will be put on hold with no one will pickup our call Occasionally some FHS representative will pickup but when we identify ourselves they put us back on hold

I had 37k of credit card debt and was several months behind on my paymentsI was going through a divorce and frustrated due to the loss of income I had fallen behind on all of my bills, My mom did a google search and found FHS, although I was hesitant, I entrusted all of my past due accounts to themThree years later, as of yesterday, I am now debt free and my credit has improved drastically Thank you FHS especially, ***, my certified credit counselor

I have spent hours on hold waiting for a replyI finally spoke with a very nice customer service lady who told me on Dec that my account was one that got hung up in a computer glitch in October and she put me on hold while supposedly talking to the accounting dept; came back on and told me the payments were being sent out and to give it daysToday is Dec 29...so unless my math is wrong, from Dec to Dec is daysI tried calling todayWas on hold for minutes before they hung up on me Something very very bad is going on here

Buyer beware!

This company supposedly took over accounts from American Debt Counseling (ADC). However, I suspect they are one in the same and trying to write off bad debts and poor customer service to the former company name. There are many instances of complaints on Revdex.com and RipoffReport.com with similar situations.

When they supposedly took over my account, I received a letter from ADC stating that my account had been transferred to Financial Help Services (FHS). Then I received a similar letter (only thing changed was the name - same type, letterhead style, paper, wording, etc) from Financial Help Services stating that they have taken over servicing my account. Both letters stated that no action would be required on my part to continue the servicing of my account.

However, both FHS and ADC failed to pay my accounts on time or at all, in many cases. My accounts were showing at least two months of consecutive non-payments. Where did my money go? I have my credit card statements as proof of non-payments and bank statements as proof they continued to withdraw the same monthly payments from my account. This ruined my credit and was a blatant taking of my money, instead of paying my accounts as was in the original agreement when I started the program.

I have no confidence that FHS can service my account or anyone elses. Several times I attempted to call the number provided on their web site as well as email with no response from calling except for a busy signal or an automated voice that puts me on hold for over an hour each time with no human response otherwise. The only email response stated that if my account was set up with ACH debit then there was nothing I needed to do. This was not helpful whatsoever in explaining the situation. So communicating with FHS was impossible.

Something that should be rather simple -- collecting monthly payments and distributing them to creditors -- simply was too difficult for this company to do consistently and appears to be fraudulent in that money that was paid to them never made it to the creditors.

I am sorry to say I apparently didn't learn my lesson with American Debt when it got my money in July 2013 for 2 payments and never got it back and never paid the accounts in the program and now Financial Help Services is doing the same thing. They now have 2 montns payments of 529.00 for August and September that they did not pay and now I am paying them out of pocket just to catch them up to date. That is stealing our money and it is criminal to take someone's money in a contract and keep it and not use it for what it was intended. They never call you back and still haven't paid the payments. Legal action needs to be taken. They did good for a few months and now right back where we ended with American Debt Counseling.

In a word,"Horrific." Run away as fast as you can. This is not a reputable company. Don't trust this company. Do not give them the opportunity to ruin your credit like they did to me. They take your money like clockwork but then don't pay the creditors. They will also not refund your money or answer the phone.

They take our money and DON'T PAY our creditor and have messed up our credit rating. They lie and blow smoke and that's IF you can even get in touch with them.
They are completely shady and have caused my wife and I undue stress and aggravation. Avoid these bottom feeders at all cost.

We are customers of Financial Help Services. Our payments to this company for September and October 2014 have not been dispersed to our creditors. We are now behind in payments and getting phone calls from the CC companies daily. Numerous calls to FHS have been made and after being hung up on, leaving multiple messages and finally talking to someone we were given excuses of floods, computer issues banking issues etc our bills are still NOT PAID as according to our contract. Now when we call we are put in "Que" for over 30 minutes and then put to Voicemail. We have paid $2897.00 to this company and they have stolen this money by keeping it for themselves and NOT fulfilling their end of our binding agreement.
#[redacted], the president of this company has to know this is fraud. We can't afford to lose this money. We are Retired Military and this company has stolen from us. #financialhelpservices is a total scam and an investigation is needed.

BEWARE...DO NOT USE THIs FALSE COMPANY.They took money from my bank account to playoff my credit card,but the money was not used for that purpose.This phony company stole thousands from me,and will not answer their phone when I call them.I will be reporting them as thieves and con artists.

My name is [redacted]. FHS has not paid my 3 of my 4 credit cards for the last 2 months. Only one has recieved the payments. The web site idicates that the money has been sent to all credit cards. NO one will call me back. Not even a manager. Ashame on them for handling someones hard earned money so poorly. Have been trying for 2 WEEKS to get them to call back.

Along with a few others via the FHS facebook page, Financial Help Services have not made payments to my creditors for 2 months now. When I call company, im placed on hold for long lengths of times, and only get voicemails with no return calls. When I have spoken to someone, very little assurance was provided.

Worst [redacted] company takes your money and don't pay your creditors. Don't even pick up the phone you be on hold for hours and no one pick up the line. . My credit cards went up plus late fees because this crook thief so call finacial help. Wish I lived in Florida I go in person to their office if if the company exit.
