Response:

This letter will serve to respond the above mentioned complaint filed by Regina [redacted] on May 15, 2015, which we received notice of on June 23, 2015. Ms. [redacted] was involved in a collision with an employee of our insured Brisbane Recycling Company, in a parking lot on March 18, 2015. This claim was reported to us on March 24, 2015. An investigation was conducted into the facts surrounding the accident, which included obtaining statements from both drivers, inspections of both vehicles and photographs of the loss location. Ms. [redacted] has mentioned a witness, but had no contact information was provided. Responsibility for this collision was disputed, and following our investigation we could find no evidence that our insured driver was at fault and we communicated a denial of the claim. Ms. [redacted] disagreed with our denial and asked that we obtain further statements from a witness at the scene, her passenger who was also her brother, and look at the photos she had taken at the scene before the vehicles had been moved. This information had not been supplied previously. She was able to provide a phone number for a witness, which we found to be disconnected. We were later provided another number for the witness, whom they claimed they did not know, but this number was also disconnected so we were never able to speak to speak with him. A statement was obtained from her brother, who described the accident as she had. As a result, we made the decision to stand behind the denial and will not be offering any compensation for Ms. [redacted]’s vehicle damages. Ms. [redacted] has been directed to her own insurance carrier to compensate for her damages. Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely,[redacted]Claims Supervisor

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I was told that they talk to my witness way before the phone was even cut off and they had a recorded statement from him and after all that my insurance and told me that the guy [redacted] was denied my claim because he felt like I knew my witness. I waited 2 months for them to even talk to their driver and when they talked to him he got a whole nother story from at the scene and I feel like something should be done to the driver to because he did me report the accident is that like hit and run . I did everything I was supposed to do I reported everything and [redacted] the guy that works at the company gave me the runaround I recorded a few conversations with him and his boss or whoever the guy was and that guy he told me that the company wanted to pay because I felt like their driver was at fault or something like that but all of a sudden it all switched up like I just got bs all the way around and I feel like it's because I'm a woman he was talking to me like my it didn't matter what I had to say so that's why I had to keep calling his boss but when my more information then he tried to tell me that my accident was too small to get hurt
