The garage room....has a free standing ac unit which is VERY loud and right next to the head of the bedDespite notifying owner three times that it was not at all efficient, he never corrected the issueHe said leave the lights off and the unit on.....I was and I felt as though I was sleeping in a saunaEventually, my nephew moved to the couch and gave me his room which completely defeated us renting a four bedroom! Additionally, it would better be described as a bed in a garageThe closet was full of brake pads, broken glass, glass shelves, etcnot your typical bedroom closet! It also smells very sourThere is a tv in this room however it is on a table a few inches from the ground and despite powering on you cannot actually watch anything on this tv as it's not connected to cable or a blue rayThe room has a bed, two night stands, a lamp, mirror and wicker chair as furnitureNo where for your belongingsThe best kept secret of this room though is that after you walk into the room there is a hump in the floor....almost a speed bumpIt never failed we ALL stumbled continually on this humpI have significantly bruised legs from stumbling and falling into the bedI did let the owner know but he didn't even ask if I was okI certainly would NOT conscider this as a suitable bedroomIt also isn't more separate from the house, it is directly off of the living room
Upon our arrival, my friend placed her one year old on the floor to crawl around as we got situatedWithin minutes his legs were covered in filth....hence it was VERY obvious the unit hadn't been cleanedA bit later he was eating a pretzel....none of us had eaten pretzels which means it was someone else's leftovers! The kitchen microwave was all sticky, food was melted on to the front of the toast oven, you could see something had been spilt all over the front of the off white leather couch, etc etc.....then you go out to the pool....it had a significant amount of sand on the bottom as well as several large leavesIt was far from cleanWe contacted *** and he did send someone to clean the house...not the poolALL of the tables and chairs outside around the pool were extremely dirty as well
The living room....I wouldn't recommend moving the couch because you never know what you may findWe had gone to purchase a vacuum because things still were not swept very well (we did let *** know this but he didn't seem to care that we had to take money out of our on pockets to buy a vacuum to care for his house)I found plenty of ping pong balls, sand, chips, pretzels....apparently NO ONE EVER moves the couches to cleanAdditionally, the living room contains one lamp.....that's it for lightingIt also has a very old ac unit with parts falling off of it
The dining area.....it was nice as long as you were not dining at night.....otherwise you'd have better luck with lighting if you brought some candles because the overhead light is a joke
The master bedroom....by far the nicest room in the houseVery large and spacious with doors to the pool areaHuge walk in closetThe mirror on the dresser had two large handprints or smudges on it....clearly another area that had not been cleaned yet sooooo visible to anyone who entered the roomThe attached bathroom had bolts hanging out of the wall where a towel bar had once been and the other towel bar falls as soon as you place towels on it
First queen bedroomIt has its own ac unit and is the coolest room in the houseIt's decent in size and has decent storage spaceThe full bathroom that is attached has old yellow tileHowever behind the sink there is a 12xsquare of new tile randomly slapped up on the yellow tileThe sink is updated but leaks profusely around the base of the bowl
The second queen bedroom is NOT the room shown on any of the listing sites! It is quite small and very very darkThe owner deceives you by redecorating the first queen roomclearly, only in it for the $
