To whom it may concern:In the case of Mr***, there was some confusion as to what was happening with the prices on thewebsite(s)We have two websites that represent the inventory and its pricingThey arewww.findlaychryslerleepdodgeram.com, which is an OEM site that is mandated by the manufacturer, and cannot be taken down, and www.findlaycjdr.com which is the site that we promote and useThis isa common practice in the Industry when a franchised dealer does not agree with the manufacturer'swebsite platformNinety-nine percent of the time, these sites are in sync with one another as far asdescription and price are concernedThe latter site, unfortunately, is heavily reliant on the former(OEM) for inventory and pricingMr [redacted] started a conversation with Andrew several days prior tothe pricing discrepancy on the latter websiteThere was a technical issue with the incentives feed.Instead of having wrong information on the second website, I decided to remove the incentiveinformation all togetherThis was done without any knowledge of the conversation that Mr [redacted] andAndrew were havingI have email chain discussions with the provider of the incentive information tocorroborate what I'm relaying to you in this letter if you desire to read deeper into the issue.Unfortunately, the sales consultant didn't have this information when discussing the pricing discrepancythat Mr [redacted] found between the two sites, and I surmise that his response to him was given withoutproper investigation into the matterIf all of this was explained to Mr***, I'm sure he wouldunderstand what we were dealing with, and that relying on a company miles away can beunnerving at times. To say the least, this was definitely not done to mislead the public at allIn fact, the actions taken, wereto do just the oppositeTo NOT put erroneous information out thereIn Mr***'s diligentresearching for the best price possible, he happened to come across the OEM site that still had theIncentive information on it.It is unfortunate that tl1ings turned out the way they did, in this matterWe had the vehicle that Mr[redacted] wanted, I believe, and but due to a technical issue, three entities were affectedHim, us, and theauto industry as a wholeHis distrust of us is understandable but, due to circumstances that werecompletely out of our control, is the reason for his distrustNOT the dealership, and not the people in it[redacted] Managing PartnerFindlay Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM

In response to the compliant on billing or collection issues the difference of $of underpaid taxes was not an attempt or a tactic to beat competitor’s pricesAll of our prices are quoted prior to taxes and feesAs we are an Oregon Dealer, we do not have sales tax so none of our prices
would include a sales tax The customer is a resident of the State of Washington, and purchased a vehicle out of state We attempted to collect taxes and registration fees for the customer as a convenienceOur finance managers tell the customers that we estimate taxes and fees and they may not be exact as we are not a Washington Dealership. Customers are responsible for the taxes and registration fees for their state of residenceWe do our best to estimate but cannot always know the exact tax rate of each county or township in every stateOn the customer’s Retail Sale Agreement, to which he received a copy and signed, it clearly states the amount of taxes collected, this was the exact amount that was sent to the Washington DMV on the customer’s behalfIn no way was the customer lied to or deceived in any way

manufacturer, and cannot be taken down, and www.findlaycjdr.com which is the site that we promote and use. This isa common practice in the Industry when a franchised dealer does not agree with the manufacturer'swebsite platform. Ninety-nine percent of the time, these sites are in sync with one another as far asdescription and price are concerned. The latter site, unfortunately, is heavily reliant on the former(OEM) for inventory and pricing. Mr. [redacted] started a conversation with Andrew several days prior tothe pricing discrepancy on the latter website. There was a technical issue with the incentives feed.Instead of having wrong information on the second website, I decided to remove the incentiveinformation all together. This was done without any knowledge of the conversation that Mr. [redacted] andAndrew were having. I have email chain discussions with the provider of the incentive information tocorroborate what I'm relaying to you in this letter if you desire to read deeper into the issue.Unfortunately, the sales consultant didn't have this information when discussing the pricing discrepancythat Mr. [redacted] found between the two sites, and I surmise that his response to him was given withoutproper investigation into the matter. If all of this was explained to Mr. [redacted], I'm sure he wouldunderstand what we were dealing with, and that relying on a company 2000 miles away can beunnerving at times. To say the least, this was definitely not done to mislead the public at all. In fact, the actions taken, wereto do just the opposite. To NOT put erroneous information out there. In Mr. [redacted]'s diligentresearching for the best price possible, he happened to come across the OEM site that still had theIncentive information on it.It is unfortunate that tl1ings turned out the way they did, in this matter. We had the vehicle that Mr.[redacted] wanted, I believe, and but due to a technical issue, three entities were affected. Him, us, and theauto industry as a whole. His distrust of us is understandable but, due to circumstances that werecompletely out of our control, is the reason for his distrust. NOT the dealership, and not the people in it.[redacted]Managing PartnerFindlay Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM.
