My complaint concerns shipping, customer service and refund.

I purchased two Findster Duo products online on January 6th 2020. I was given a DHL tracking number and was told my delivery was expected in 2-3 days.

Weeks later, I still hadn't received my products and contacted customer service as the tracking showed my package was OH HOLD in Portugal. This business has a physical address listed on their website in San Francisco and I am in Canada. However, it seems all business is actually in Portugal.

I was told that Findster did not know that they could not send batteries in the mail and their item was on hold because of this, they blamed DHL and never assumed responsibility. After several emails, a MONTH later, my purchase was resent. By then, I had gone on vacation and was not available to sign for the package, or pay customs. This was fully explained to the customer service representative, before they resent the second package and after the item was resent and was on hold, waiting for me to pick it up. I told her I was leaving and would not be present and the package would be returned. Nonetheless, she blamed me and claimed I did not want to pay customs, which is simply untrue.

The package was returned. I did not receive a refund. When I contacted them again, *** told me they would only refund my purchase if I removed my negative review on ***. This type of behaviour is crooked and unacceptable.

I will absolutely NOT remove this review. *** and *** still refuse to accept responsibility for not knowing about shipping regulations, not promptly resending my purchase and not refunding when they received the undelivered item.

If I had received my package withing 2-3 days of purchase, as promised, I would have been available for pick up and to pay the custom fees. I am not obligated to stay home and wait a month simply to correct the mistake they made.

The service (or lack of) I received was very poor, unapologetic and outright dishonest.
