this Revdex.com case is the first time I was made aware that the customer was dissatisfied in any way. I'm actually the one who cashiered the ticket and handed the customer the keys and she mentioned nothing to me about being dissatisfied. In any case, it is always my top priority to make sure every customer understands why their repair was needed, and how much it will cost before the repairs are made, ultimately with the goal of complete customer satisfaction. In this case, the situation that occurred is that the car needed two repairs in order to make the car function the way it was supposed to. The first repair recommended and authorized by the customer was the ignition switch, which required steering column disassembly. While disassembling the column for the switch replacement, the technician found that the cause of ignition switch failure was that the lock cylinder was worn out. These two parts are connected to each other in this particular vehicle, so not replacing the lock cylinder would have resulted in repeat failure of the ignition switch. This cause of failure was not evident until disassembly since these parts cannot be seen until other parts are removed. The customer was offered the opportunity to replace the part while the car was apart, saving labor and making the job the quality we like to give our customers. She made the right decision to authorize the extra dollar amount and we finished the job. The total bill came out to $336.00 less than the original amount authorized due to us not needing all of the parts we originally anticipated. Fine tune auto started with the amount of $400.00 later added $900.00 more = equal $1300.00, hence this was my complaint. Final result I was charged $986.00. They never address they got a complaint from the Revdex.com. I was not satisfied with the amount, but I had to pay to get my car. I will never go to such a rip-off type business again. Buyer be ware.
