My wife and kids stayed behind until the closing date of our home in Atlanta and were schedule to be moved on June 27, Sales rep had given me a quote which I thought was a fair quoteWhen movers showed up on the they told my wife that it will be 3x's as much as the quoted rateIf they would have told me it was an extra $for the additional boxes I would have gone with them
I should have know that it was a scam from the beginning cause it is not easy to speak to any reponce they have your initial deposit (which is not refundable)All your calls and email are ignored and they do not return your calls once you leave a message
Now I have to fly back to South Florida, rent a U-Haul, load truck and drive my family up to AtlantaYou are better off renting a truck and loading with you friendsDO NOT DEAL WITH THEMIt is not worth the frustration and pressure of having to look for a truck to rent and load at last minute
The effort and professionalism shown by Finest Movers I was truly pleased and impressed with the packing and the dissassembling of furniture by the crew led by ***Thy were nifored and they were clean cut as wellThe handled the stuff carefully and made it feel like I was being moved by familyI would hire them agin in a sec if I need to move long distance again
These guys were outstanding and took great care of my stuff it made me feel like I was being moved by family and friends and I really appreciate the care*** the foremen even helped me track down my dog that ran out the door during the move which was very nice of him

This after I had estimated that the 20xand 10xlockers would take up the entire truckThey worked for hours without taking a break, and secured the contents well, so nothing shifted during the tripThe previous company that I hired took hours to move the contents of only the 20xlocker across the streetFinest movers did an amazing job moving my goods across the countryHighly recommended

I alos needed some stuff dropped off at a storage near bye and they did not charge for the extar cost.

I hired Finest Movers Inc. to help me move from Ohio to North Carolina. To complete the reservation with Finest Movers Inc, I had to put down a $705 deposit.
On the moving date (Saturday, 9/19/15), THE MOVERS NEVER SHOWED UP!!! Customer Service does not work on the weekends, so I could not reach anyone to let me know why the movers did not show.
I asked for a refund of my deposit early the following week. They apologized, stated they would send a check, but THE REFUND NEVER CAME!
I followed up on 10/9/15. They stated they would send another check. THE REFUND NEVER CAME!
I followed up again on 10/16/15. They said no check had been mailed out and a check would be mailed by the end of business. I asked for a tracking number and they refused. THE REFUND NEVER CAME!
I have been fighting for this refund for over 6 months! Finest Movers Inc RIPPED ME OFF! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
I was blown away with the speed at which these guys did my move. They loaded and packed up or items in no time. They were polite and very careful handling our belongings. The truck was new and clean and then men were uniformed and looked like they really knew what they were doing. The move went without a hitch and I was impressed with how the guys worked as a team together to get things doen quickly!
People of America I have a once in a lifetime offer for you a moving company who will make you question all things great in your life. East Coast Moving and Storage based out of Hallandale, Fl. This was my first mistake; I looked at reviews for similarly named company based out of Illinois. I'll take the blame for that one. East Coast Moving and Storage will not only rob you blind but they will smile and tell you everything is alright while doing so! You almost feel inclined to work with them; they tell you exactly what you want to hear at the exact right time. I know it works, that's how I got my wife to marry me. [redacted]
The initial guy who does the consultation to tell you how much space you will need on the truck has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. He was off on my "estimate" three fold. This will inevitably lead you to paying much more to the company when they show up to pack the items. He will completely bold face lie to you about delivery dates. I shopped around with several moving companies; they all gave me a 7-10 day window for deliver after pickup. [redacted] the gentleman with East Coast gave me a 3 day window. I questioned him about it saying everyone else was 7-10 he told me not to worry. It won't be an issue getting your items delivered in that 3 day window. As time is always of essence I agreed to a deal with [redacted].
If I've convinced you to look at other companies' great, best of luck! If I still haven't dissuaded you from using this company please continue to read, and then seek medical help because you've clearly got some deep seeded problems that need resolved.

Finally after multiple cancellations (4 total) they arrived and when the movers showed up I found out that they were a contracted company, and that they didn't work for East Coast. They wrapped everything, loaded it in the truck etc...The lead guy on the pick-up team ensured me that he was leaving and driving straight north to deliver my items and that they would arrive in Tennessee the next day to deliver my items. I was happy; I even tipped all 4 of them very well! This is what had been verbally agreed upon from the beginning. Shame on me for verbally agreeing to anything! Needless to say the items went South, to Hallandale, FL to sit in a warehouse until they were ready to deliver them. The written contract said they could (again my ignorance for not reading) have up to 14 days to deliver, or 30 in the event of bad weather.
After several phone calls the following day trying to find out where my items were (I thought there were arriving the next day or so) I got no answer. So I tried the next day, finally reached someone after about 15 calls (they do not like answering phones. I can only assume someone was sick and coughed on all the phones). The guy told me that in order to get my items I would have to pay for the deposit and 60% of the remaining cost. Fine that was great I was more than happy to pay, but again [redacted] lied...When agreeing to the terms he told me I could pay with a credit card, this new guy told me that they only accepted cash and electronic transfers. Obviously I was mad; I wanted to get miles on my credit card! So I made the transfer and paid them, at this point he told me my items would be loaded the following day and delivered soon. Well a week goes by...Nothing. I've called probably 100 times. I had to *67 my number to get them to answer me. I finally found a respectable gentleman that worked for them [redacted] and he was able to get me some concrete answers.
Final concerns...So after 2 weeks my items arrived from Florida to Tennessee (guys its only 750 miles. I could have ridden my bike in that amount of time) the gentleman who were delivering once again worked for a different company. They were nice guys, did a great job of unloading the items. Although when I looked in the truck all of the items were literally just thrown in there. We had boxes that were breaking at the seams, we lost a book shelf in the journey (RIP bookshelf, you were an excellent holder of my books). The foot-board of my bed was broken in two. My TV! It had a tiny crack in the upper corner, we are still finding things.
People of America! I can't tell you enough how bad of a company this is. They bold face lied to me on 5 different occasions, they destroyed several of my items, and they caused me to get a gray hair in my beard!
Again I suppose I have to take some of the blame for my ignorance and belief that there are still good people in the business world who don't want to take advantage of you. So please people of America hear my plea! Don't ever work with East Coast Moving and Storage out of Hallandale Florida! Good Luck America!
