Our tech came out, checked the problem and he gave the estimate to the customerEstimate was approved and sighedDual run capacitor replaced, "super seal" and freon was added to the systemHe did a very big job: parts replacement and maintenance(condenser was cleaned, valve cores were replaced, etc,), some parts were lubricatedThis is a very big job - unit is old and needed a lot of workWe provided year warranty (info on the top of the invoice)Customer notified us that she stopped the check

Do you mean to tell me that you charge $1,for three hours of laborThat is what your bill saysIt is criminal that a business such as yours, or any business for that matter, takes advantage of the elderlyMy father may have signed the bill but he is years old and has dementiaI will pay you $for your services or we may have to take this to a higher level

I have had two professionals in this industry review the bill received by Affordable Service Appliance, Inc.Both of these other professionals said it is very unusual that the hourly rate, time, and parts are not itemized in the bill with associated cost. They informed me that a duel run capacitor costs no more than $60.00, R22 coolant is approximately $30.00 a lp.. Please note on attached bill they billed $1,075.00 for labor and applied a supposed $99.00 discounted service charge. Leading my father to believe that he was getting a deal.Again, my 90 year old father has dementia. I feel he has been taken advantage of. Please review attached bill.

replaced, etc,), some parts were lubricated. This is a very big job - unit is old and needed a lot of work. We provided 1 year warranty (info on the top of the invoice). Customer notified us that she stopped the check.

I am not sure that 2 professionals saw the unit before the service. They did not check the problem before the unit was fixed. Customer stopped the check - so we do not have any payments. Our tech spent almost 3 hours for repair and maintenance.
