Finishing Touches Limited Liability Company

This guy does shoddy work and took 350.00 of our money which he was supposed to use to buy supplies. He didnt buy supplies kept our money and wont return it. In the process of taking him to court.

Two issues: 1. While painting an upper deck railing, the contractor got paint on my lower deck boards. While he was trying to wash the paint off, he ruined the deck boards with the removal product he was using. He said he would contact his insurance about the issue but I have heard nothing. He claimed he did not have the money to pay the insurance deductable so I would assume that is why he did not pursue his insurance company (IF HE EVEN HAS AN INSURANCE COMPANY!!!!) The deck continues to have ruined boards and paint on it.
2. I paid for this contractor to build a shelving unit. He has not built the unit or contacted me about it. I paid him since he complained of having money issues and needed the money ahead of time. My mistake!!!
