Review: I visited the office of Fink and Rosner to discuss a short sale on my property that entered into Foreclosure. My financial institution [redacted], offered a settlement agreement with me if I were to sell my home in lieu of losing it to Foreclosure. I explained my situation thoroughly to Mr. Fink, and I explained to him that due to losing my employment I was not able to afford my home any longer. I also explained my issues regarding my credit to Mr. Fink. I made Mr. Fink aware of me having issues with my credit and that I was going to use the $20,000 that [redacted] was offering me to sell my home after closing to begin repairing my credit and use some for money to relocate.

I signed an agreement with him to handle this closing transaction for me. Mr. Fink was to be paid at the time of closing and the money would come from closing costs after the closing. AT NO TIME DID MR. FINK EXPLAIN TO ME THAT IT MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO CLOSE IF THERE WERE LIENS OR ANY JUDGMENTS AGAINST MY HOME. As an attorney I believe that he should have either ran my credit or check to see if there would be something preventing me from closing. HE DID NOT. INSTEAD HE CONTINUED CHARGING ME AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. ONE OF THE AMOUNTS WERE CHARGED TWICE TO THE SAME CLIENT WHO WAS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING MY HOME. I CALLED HIS OFFICE A FEW TIMES INCLUDING ONE TIME TODAY AND THEY DIRECTED ME TO CALL ANOTHER AGENCY THAT WAS HANDLING THIS ACCOUNT IN WHICH I DID. I EMAILED A LADY NAMED [redacted] AND ASKED HER TO GIVE ME A BREAKDOWN OF ALL CHARGES AND INSTEAD SHE JUST SENT ME A TOTAL AMOUNT OWED OF $5422.99. I HAVE EMAILED THIS LADY [redacted] TWICE TODAY REGARDING THIS AND I DON'T HAVE A CORRECT BREAKDOWN YET. THIS COMPANY HAS DEFINITELY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ME AFTER ALL I DID WAS TRY TO ACQUIRE HIS HONEST BUSINESS ADVICE AND HELP. I HAVE CONTACTED THE BAR ASSOCIATION AND I AM WAITING ON THEM TO SEND ME THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK TO FILE A COMPLAINT.Desired Settlement: I WANT AN EXACT BREAKDOWN OF ALL CHARGES WITH PROOF THAT I AGREED TO THE CHARGES IN QUESTION. NO WORK WAS PERFORMED ON MY BEHALF, JUST A WASTE OF MY TIME WITH THIS HUGE AMOUNT OF CHARGES FOR A SO CALLED ATTORNEY WHO DID NOT ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING ON MY BEHALF.
