Firdale Village Apartments Reviews (2)

This letter is in response to a complaint submitted to you on 05/03/from [redacted] , a currentresident of Firdale Village (original complaint included.) The complaint is regarding the towing of hisvehicle and the validity of associated charges.I would like to take this opportunity to invalidate his grievance based on the supporting documentationand brief description (below) of the circumstances. On 03/25/during a routine parking lot audit, it was discovered that Mr [redacted] 's Lexus appeared tobe inoperable and not legal to drive (photos attached) due to the dilapidated condition of the vehicle aswell as accumulated debris on the vehicle, clearly indicating it was sitting idle for well over the 48-hourpolicy set forth by management.Immediately after tagging the vehicle with a courtesy notice (1st time warning) cautioning the ownerthat the vehicle is subject to towing for the reasons indicated above, I located the owner in our databaseand emailed them notification of the situation regarding their vehicleThe resident did respond, statingthat the vehicle was legal and argued against the claim that it was inoperableAfter allowing him torectify the situation (by moving the vehicle and bringing it to the standards set forth by management) Imade a note to re-inspect in days. After the 30-day lapse and also after receiving complaints from neighboring residents and officeassociates that the vehicle had simply been "turned around and moved next door) I re-inspected andconcluded that the vehicle had not been in operation and again was in violation of the attached, signed,Lease Agreement and Community Policies, Rules and Regulations Addendum. The vehicle was tagged for "final notice" on 04/28/and towed on 04/30/The CommunityManager also approved the towAfter the resident was notified from Mary's towing of the charges, theresident immediately came to the office and demanded we pay for the charges and have the carreleasedWe did call Mary's towing and requested they reduce charges, as a courtesy, however this isnot something that was negotiable on their end, as the driver from Mary's towing also noted in hispaperwork that the vehicle was inoperable Attached Items:• Lease Agreement, Pg Section "Parking"• Community Policies, Rules, and Regulations addendum, Pg Section 6.Automobiles/Boats/Recreational Vehicles.• Email Correspondence• Photos dated 03/25/{First Notice)• Photos dated 04/28/(Second Notice)Thank you for your consideration.Regards,Firdale Village -A Greystar Property(206) 546- ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***
