Review: on 9-**-15 we were contacted by this company to do work for them at a location in Triadelphia,wv and had to be immediate as this business was opening to open up the next day and had an inspection for fire safety that was due also. I was given a work order number from this company to do the work but when the technician went to the location they were closed. Academy Fire was then called and advised of the situation and they said to just go back the following day and do as we were contracted to do. The next day they called and said that they did not need our service as the business was not to open and they would call us back. We knew this was a lie and a deceptive practice they are known for to get a cheaper price and to sell you out for an extra dollar or two. We drove to the Triadelphia store and the store( sally's beauty supply) were open and had a new fire extinguisher from another company and they did flat out lie to us. They were then notified by phone that we will no longer do business with a company with such deceptive practices as theirs. We mailed them the invoice with their po# for us to do the work and advised them that due to the cancellation we do not discount any work or product especially when we are lied to and used as this company is known for. After numerous, 4 to be exact past due notices we still have not been paid.Desired Settlement: pay what they owe!

Review: Academy Fire Protection came into our service department without authorization or permission under the pretense of checking our fire extinguishers and then proceeded to bill us. They are NOT one of our authorized vendors and no purchase order was given. Only the General Manager or the Corporate Office has any authorization for this type of work being done. We use the same vendor each year and Academy Fire Protection came in and pretended to be the company we use every year. I called them and told them we are not paying this bill, that they were not authorized to do this work, and still we are getting bills from them.Desired Settlement: For them to stop sending bills, stop calling, and never enter our place of business again.
