Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. In response to Fire Rescue Moving Company’s  claim : He did not notify me prior to the location or whereabouts of my piano and did not give me the option to talk with the piano repair company because he did not notify me prior to taking it there. He was not forthcoming in keeping me informed with this information until after it was already done.   On June 13, I actually initiated first point of contact with him by email and asked the owner  where my piano was because I had not heard anything about the claim number or adjuster that he indicated previously that we were waiting on.  Unbeknownst to me, I was surprised that he said he had already taken it somewhere and had “ the repairs” done and that they were picking it up to be delivered. I emailed him back about how that had happened since he had said he would let me know when and where they were taking it so that I could 1) approve where they were taking it  and 2) had concerns over what repairs were actually going to be done to it. He did not give me that option after we had initially talked about this. He did not respond to my questions or my additional requests about the repairs and damage that was caused by their negligence and failure to use reasonable caution and caused damage to my piano while providing their services.  He did not respond and I did not know what to do.     Finally, on June 22, at 5:38 PM, I received a text from an employee not from the owner saying that my piano needed to be delivered (I had not heard anything). It had been indicated that the owner was waiting on an adjuster from his insurance and that was what I thought we were waiting on. He did not have my prior permission or approval to take it to this company. After this the owner finally said it is completed and we need to deliver this to you.   On Friday June 24, after they were unable to tell me for sure that they were coming and I asked for documentation to prove that they had actual taken it somewhere, so I am the one who had to ask for a receipt for this. Finally after waiting quite sometime a receipt was texted to me by an employee not the owner, of which did not include the complete repairs of what was caused by their neglectful actions of dropping my piano in the street, this was not a regular little scratch incident from a moving a piece of furniture, they dropped my piano face down in the street from their truck ramp. I had to ask several times for the receipt. I only received information after the fact of him taking the piano to this company. He did not work with me willingly or give me the option to work with him through his lack of communication. I asked him and his employee from the beginning to let me know where they were taking it and when, so that I could be involved with any repairs done on the piano. They did not give me that option but instead made that decision on their own, without my express approval or knowledge prior to them doing anything to this piano. There were pieces removed from this period piece without my approval as well. So I want to stress here that I did not receive information that it was with the repair company until after he had taken it there, it was done and they would be delivering it. It was already said and done without my knowledge. When the employee said he would be delivering it they did not show up at a very early time of which I made arrangements to wait for them so I texted them only to find out the owner arbitrarily moved the time and day without notifying me. So once again through the owner’s lack of communication, he said he didn’t think I would be up that early but I was because I was waiting on them. He did not give me that option either but left me waiting and me having to ask to find out when they were coming.  “Fire Rescue Moving did not go above and beyond to rid me of any emotional or financial distress, and that my dissatisfaction was not resolved.”So this issue is not resolved, I am not satisfied with his explanations or his lack of communication or actions to resolve this issue. This is very unsatisfactory and unprofessional.  Thank you Revdex.com for your help in this matter. [redacted]
