Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. I have no problem with the way Champion has responded to our previous warranty issues, as these occurred after less than five yearsWhat still bothers me is that the Champion window in question had the Ecoating applied on the wrong side of the windowpane, thus it was defective BEFORE it was ever installedThis we were told by champion's service technicianI know that any product, given enough time, can need serviceI would not have a complaint over having to pay a trip fee if our window had developed a defect over timeBut as I said, our window was defective from the very beginningI also feel that Champion Windows, in the interest of keeping good customer relations, should be a little more flexible with their policies, and be willing to at least reduce the trip fee by 50% in this case.

To whom it may concernI am not exactly sure why this complaint has been filed The wood is custom made out of Wisconsin and had to be ordered The day that we received this Revdex.com complaint I had spent all morning arranging the cutting of the material and shipping arrangements from the
Manufacturer I contacted Mr*** that the wood was being shipped and he said "good news" Then later that day the complaint came through saying they were not sure we were going to take care of the door and window? The wood has been shipped, the crew installed the wood around the door and window 9/19/17. Thank youTim Y***Division Manager/Local Partner

To Whom it may concern,It has always been Champion policy in writing on the original contract the customer has signed and the warranty card they receive that parts, labor and material are covered for lifetime free of charge.  However in writing and bold print it states that after year two there...

is a trip charge, no charge on the parts labor and material. Customers free trip charge was actually extended from the two year to Five year free which I have attached both having customers signature.  I have also attached a survey in which Customer states we address even the smallest concerns.  Customer has admitted his paperwork states this and we feel that this should not be a complaint on our record.  Champion has not done anything to deceive the customer or alter their window warranty. Customer has also stated he has had 3 or 4 service requests since purchasing the windows and we have always fulfilled the service to Customers satisfaction, and do not understand how he feels he would have problems with Champion.  A problem would be if we fail to honor warranty or perform service.  There is not a product manufactured on the market that never requires service of some sort, and a quality company will stand behind their warranty which we have done and will continue to do. If there are any further questions please feel free to contact me at your convenience.  However we still feel that this is a complaint that should not be listed on Champions Revdex.com record. Thank youTim

Revdex.com:
Although the work was completed on 8/17/15, I disagree with their statement "We are attempting to satisfy Customer even to the point of waiving any related charges to the written warranty". The process to have warranty replacements for most of the windows originally installed by Champion began on March 12, 2015. I never asked for the waiving of the $75 charge. It was immediately offered by Champion as a way to shut me up.This was a painful exercise in which I had to follow up with Champion MANY MANY times before asking for Revdex.com assistance.I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.

William Neal
