In the past 2 months I have utilized Firefighters Handyman Services 3 times. Each time they called to confirm appointment time, called while in transit to scheduled appointment to confirm ETA. All work was accomplished professionally, completely, and one unusual handyman project was completed significantly beyond what I thought was possible in a minimal amount of time. One project was of an urgent safety nature and they responded accordingly. I utilized their services several years ago when selling my recently deceased Aunt's home & appraiser found minor issues that must be completed before close of escrow. Their work meets or exceeds industry standards. At the completion of the job/project they make sure the work area is absolutely clean, all trash & debris removed.and work is completed to customer satisfaction. They provide superior quality customer service. I will be using their services again later this Spring. Firefighters Handyman Services has restored my faith in handyman service providers after many handyman projects over the years and prior to utilizing Firefighters Handyman Services.were not completed, shoddy workmanship, failure to arrive at scheduled appointment time or notify of a schedule delay,\etc.

I am a small property manager in the Phoenix AZ area. I have been using Firefighters Handyman Services LLC for about a year now. They do great work and are very reasonable. I would highly recomend them.

I have used this company twice and both experiences have been great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They were timely, did a great job and cost was very competitive.

If these men are as efficient at putting out fires (and I'm sure they are) as they are at diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical and other problems, then you've got a crackerjack team of handymen and I'd stick with them & not look any further for another company. They do quality work at more-than-reasonable rates ($50 per hour is less than what most businesses charge). When I first called, I had a list a mile long of repairs that needed to be done. An appointment was scheduled and one of the handymen came over to assess the problems. We went over my list, which involved an array of electrical problems, leaks and other issues. He evaluated each problem. That visit was basically for the purpose of seeing what had to be done and for giving me an estimate. I then made an appointment to have the work done a short time after that. (In the interim, I learned that my home warranty company would cover repair of the electrical problem, but I had plenty of other things on my list that aren't covered). On appointment day, the same young man, [redacted], called to tell me he would be at my house very shortly. In addition, [redacted] (whom I believe is the owner of the company) arrived separately to give him a hand. They each attacked a different project. Unlike repairmen from some other companies who have been at my house, these two didn't stand around and "yack." They worked so hard and so steadily that I think they forgot to come up for air! In fact, when [redacted] saw me dawdling when I was supposed to go purchase a kitchen faucet that needed to be installed, he suggested that I stop wasting time. He pointed out that I was paying $50 an hour and not being terribly efficient about using that time. It was a wake-up call! Not too many repairmen care about saving the customer money. In terms of one thing on my list: an outdoor floodlight operated by sensor - [redacted] suggested something more economical and environmentally appropriate.
He explained that repairing or replacing what I already had would cost more than installing a new device that would have a more flexible use as a dimmer or motion sensor. Again, he was trying to save me money, not pad the bill as some people from other companies have done. Not all the work could be done that day, but I knew that in advance and didn't blow my top. There simply was too much to be done in one day and another appointment has been scheduled. The company has several payment options which, again, sets it apart from many companies, whose technicians demand payment the minute they walk in the door. This company will accept checks or credit cards. I offered to pay for services done that day, but the woman in the office said it was OK to wait till all the work is done. Their relaxed approach toward payment is flattering. It shows me that I'm trusted. In summary, let me say that for people who have another full-time profession, these men do an incredible job at their "second profession" and I think they could beat any other company hands down any day. They're honest, professional, knowledgeable, hard workers, personable and punctual. They have a strong work ethic. They do quality work; they don't "Jerry-rig" things. Aside from that, think about this: the men who are repairing your sprinkler line, installing a skylight on your roof, unclogging your kitchen sink or troubleshooting your electrical wires are the same men who are putting out fires, trying to revive kids who are pulled out of swimming pools and answering other emergency calls in the middle of the night while you sleep. They deserve respect and cooperation from customers - for doing the jobs required by both their professions and doing them well.

I found the Firefighters Handyman Services absolutely terrific. I live in Sun City Grand and when I moved here the gas oven didn't work, there was no remote opener for the garage door and the landscape watering system badly needed repairing. So I bought a programmable remote. The first garage door repairman (FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, NOT Firefighters) came out and said that though he'd been programming these remotes for thirteen years this was the first one he just couldn't figure out. HOWEVER, the man from FIREFIGHTERS HANDYMAN SERVICES programmed it and the overhead motor (which also needed to be programmed)right away and he fixed the watering system perfectly. One of the two firefighters fixed the gas oven. THEY ARRIVED RIGHT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, CALLED AHEAD to let me know they were on their way, WERE PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT and KNEW EXACTLY HOW TO FIX ALL THREEE PROBLEMS. I HIGHLY recommend them ...and have! THEY'RE GREAT!!(No, I'm not their mother ...nor even related!)
