In a letter previous to my complaint, and in the complaint itself, I have provided them with their invoice number, the check number we submitted, and the dates. I continue to wait for some kind of substantive response from this business

Review: I was contacted by Firefighters Professional Security on December 3, 2013 and informed that they would be switching to a different company for the monitoring of our fire alarm. Though we paid them for the monitoring service, they contracted out the actual monitoring. They never had a technician reprogram our system. I have since learned that they would not have been able to reprogram it due to its proprietary software. At some point, presumably January 1 of 2014, they stopped monitoring our alarm. On February 10, 2014 we paid $300 for an annual contract for Firefighters Professional to provide monitoring of the fire alarm in our building. We did not realize at the time, that they had ceased monitoring our alarm. All of last year our building's alarm was not being monitored. If there had been a fire after hours, no one would have notified the fire department. I have made several attempts to contact the company, starting early last summer, probably early June, with several phone calls that were never responded to. One of my employees stopped by their location and was told a technician would come to check our alarm system. No one ever came. Then on September 10, 2014 I sent an email to them requesting a refund of the $300. At that time we were in the midst of contracting with another company. They never responded to the email. They had the nerve to send us a bill for another $300 in February of this year for another year's worth of alarm monitoring service. Finally, two weeks ago they received a letter I sent to them via certified mail detailing my complaint and requesting a full refund of the $300 we paid them last year. There has been no response to that letter. All we want is the money we paid them for a service they did not provide.Desired Settlement: We simply want a full refund of the $300 we paid them in February of 2014 for fire alarm monitoring that they never provided.
