Review: My complaint is I bought a catalytic converter from this company, to be compliant with CA. laws. The CAT had a 7 year warranty which costs $300.00. The warranty still has 3 years left on it. The CAT went out and needs to be replaced. While at the shop the owner [redacted] decides not to honor the warranty because the CAT has scratches on it. He wants to charge me another $300.00 to replace it. The CAT does have scratches on it, but my car is made low to the ground so it can scrape driveways from time to time. I have a firebird and I can't help that the car is low so it's highly impossible not to scrape driveways or undulations which are made to high at time's. I feel the warranty should be honored because I have no control how driveways are constructed. Please help I am a poor man and $300.00 is impossible for me to come up with.Desired Settlement: I want the CAT replaced and the warranty honored.

Review: I originally was quoted 275 to change my cataletic converter but when I brought the car into do it they said 355 in which I payed it. Sat 1/25/2014 they changed my cataletic converter I went home within a few miles and the check engine light came back on so I took it right back n the mechanic admitted to braking the 02 sensor but thought I should pay half to fix it and I said no. He asked me to bring in back mon n he would get the part n fix it in which I did and he did not have my part. So that was 3 trips so far and I felt because I was a woman they were just gonna jerk me around so I sent an email to the owner who never replied. Finally one last time mad as heck I call n say u admitted u broke it are u gonna fix it and he says yes bring it in. Again this was maybe that same week I take it back he replaces it the light goes out n it seemed fine. Few weeks latter the same thing happens so I go back for the fourth time to ask the mechanic what the heck and the owner of the company put his hands on me to guild me outta the bay which apparently I was not suppose to be in but had many times before no one said anything now he thinks he can put his hands on me I was furious I left n I called n said so u took my money your mechanic jerked me around over n over n my car is broken n you tell me your mechanic is busy n u only care about where I am and not resolving the issue with my car I will be filling a complaint never will I step foot in his shop again. I then take it to another shop who assures me its the cataletic converter bank 2 and that was the one they replaced I watched the man do it and never did they say a word to me about being under the cars or in a certain part of the shop. so I have spent probably close to 4 hundred including my gas not to mention my time n my cat is still bad seems like because I am a woman I was not taken care of and they thought they could just take advantage of me and not honor there work nor care about me as a customer as the owner ignored all my problems!Desired Settlement: a refund of my money so I can go to a shop that will do the job the right way!
