Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Being retired *** I've always had the utmost respect and admiration for firefighters I worked with them many times at Command Posts when there was a large event in Phoenix, i.eSuper Bowl They were always just the best to work with and that is why I chose to have "firemen" move me.
When I first met *** to get his estimate, I told him how much I admired firefighters and appreciated what he had done He reacted rather coldly and finally said that he had quit the department and started this business That concerned me some since rarely does anyone quit the *** ***, but I went ahead with using him He knew that I was retired *** and I now wonder if that was some of the reason he had such difficulty dealing with me
Because I trusted him, it was extremely upsetting to me when he started to argue with me about repairing my desk drawer He says in his response that he wasn't told about it As I stated in what I wrote, I did tell him while we were still at my condo He looked at it and told his helper, ***, to try and fix it when they got it to my new apartment Once we got there and *** said he couldn't fix it, that is when *** said that he had no idea if they had broken it or if I had done it previously.
There is nothing in ***'s response that is the truth, so it's hard for me to respond to it other than to say just that His explanation about the sleep number bed cord is completely false His saying that I was crying and just being difficult with him is completely false I've worked in law enforcement for years That means working with a lot of macho men! He didn't intimidate me and I think that was a lot of his problem with me He would stand over me and bark at me and expect me to cower When I didn't, he was angry about that and took it out on me by being verbally abusive
He stated that when they did return my desk drawer after finally agreeing to fix it, that I never thanked them I don't know how he knows that since he wasn't there! *** and ***, his helpers, were the ones who brought the desk drawer back, and I thanked them several times for being cooperative and nice to deal with, compared to their boss I did tell *** and *** at that time that I was glad it was the two of them that brought the desk drawer back because *** was not welcome in my home They laughed and thought it was funny They had seen his behavior towards me
*** stated in his response that he gave me a discount on the packing and/or the move I have the invoice right here and there is no indication of any discount given to me
I could go on, but the bottom line is, *** is not an honest person He stole my chairs I have witnesses that can speak to the fact that there were six chairs with my dining room set I now have only four These were expensive chairs that I purchased from *** I have the receipt to show it ***'s treatment of me and his dishonesty is not acceptable coming from a businessman with his own business If I were to get anything out of this, I would warn women who are by themselves to never use this business *** has an issue with women if they stand up to him In fact, I do not recommend anyone using this business for their move
Regards,
*** ***

On August 11, 2014  FFOTM
received a letter from the Revdex.com stating they had not received follow-up comments
from [redacted] and it is their understanding the dispute had been resolved.  We were told she had not responded. [redacted] also did not respond within the seven days requested by the Revdex.com from our
last correspondence dated July 17th 2014.
On August 13th 2014 I received a response from
[redacted] once again stating we had stolen 2 of her dining room chairs that
she had discovered were missing almost a month after her move. [redacted]
continued to state she had the receipt to show she had purchased 6 chairs but
had never included in any correspondence.
On July 17th  FFOTM contacted [redacted] Imports and
requested a copy of the receipt showing the purchase history which I have attached.
The invoice shows the purchase of 4 chairs not 6 which [redacted] has
stated.  We figured this was the reason
[redacted] had not replied back to the Revdex.com.
As stated above we were contacted by the Revdex.com on August 13th
with a reply from [redacted] once again stating she purchased 6 chairs and
only had 4 and we had stolen 2 of them and she had the receipt to prove it.
On Sept. 5th I spoke to the Revdex.com and requested a
copy of the receipt from [redacted] for the chairs she had purchased. The Revdex.com
had given her 3 days to respond. We had figured this would end here as the receipt
we had obtained from [redacted] show 4 chairs not 6.
On Sept. 11th FFOTM received and email from the
Revdex.com with a copy of the receipt provided by [redacted].  This receipt showed the purchase of 4 chairs
but at the bottom appeared a hand written note stating 2 chairs free.
On Sept. 11th FFOTM contacted [redacted] and forwarded
the altered copies of the invoice provided by [redacted].  FFOTM was told by [redacted] that hand
written items are not and have never been part of their policy’s or procedure’s.  In fact any additional items included for
[redacted] would have a description and a part number listed on their point of
sale system to maintain quality control of their inventory.  [redacted] also stated the remarks from the
purchase shows the only other contact they had with [redacted] was to set up a
delivery time. If 2 additional chairs had been provided it would have also been
listed in remarks.  There was never any
mention of 2 chairs free.  I asked if
this could have been an oversight.
[redacted] went on to explain that the sales person listed on record was
the store manager and this never would have happened and the altered invoice
provided by [redacted] with the hand written 2 chairs free was not even the
managers hand writing.
We have provided a copy of the invoice from [redacted] showing
4 chairs total.  A copy of her moving
invoice showing a $50.00 discount.  We also
repaired a drawer which had no signs of damage free of charge to her.  FFOTM has bent over backwards for [redacted]
and she continues to slander our company and provide what appears to be an
altered document for 2 additional chairs when there were only 4.
We wish [redacted] only the best. If this continues we will
have no other option then to pursue legal action against [redacted].

In May 2014 Firefighters On The Move Inc. provided moving services to [redacted].  On May 27th 2014 we provided packing of her household items.  On May 28th 2014 we moved her household items from 9979 W Hawthorn Drive Sun City, AZ  to a second story apartment at [redacted]...

[redacted] Peoria, AZ. When loading her items from her Sun City address she gave nothing but praise and could not say enough nice things to her neighbor about our services.  When we arrived at her new apartment all was fine until we started to put her sleep number bed together.  She asked if I knew where the electric cord was that plunged into the pump.  I asked the guys if they remembered packing and they did not. I explained it had to be there somewhere and we would look. This is when Ms. [redacted] became agitated and continued complaining throughout the entire move.  When I was putting her bed together I had noticed she has 5 cords tangled up together on her dresser. Included was the cord that plunged into her pump.  This is when Ms. [redacted] had come in and stated I had taken her cord.  I explained it was not with her pump but instead tangled up with 5 other cords that were on her dresser.  This is when Ms. [redacted] stated I had taken her cord and mixed it in with the other cords because I did not want to admit I had taken her cord to the bed.  After the bed had been all set up she would not stop complaining about it.  At this time I explained the bed had been taken care of and she needed to stop complaining about something that had been handled.  Then Ms. [redacted] stated that my guys had damaged a drawer at the other house. When I looked at the drawer it was a self actuated drawer that when it gets an inch to being closed the actuator pulls it closed the rest of the way. The drawer would not close 1/4 to 1/8th of an inch.  I could not find any damage on the drawer other then it would not close. I explained this was the first I had heard about it and that I would take her word that the drawer had closed all the way prior to the move. This is when she said I was calling her liar. She became very angry when I refused to argue with her.   Ms. [redacted] refused to listen to anything and just wanted to complain. This is when my employees stated she started complaining and crying to them.  At the end of every move all of our pads are folded and the truck is prepared for the next move.  (This is so nothing can be left in the truck from a prior move).  While I was finishing up with the truck I had my guys get the unit she stated we had damaged to take to [redacted] to look at and repaired if possible.  On May 31st (3 days later) we returned her unit repaired at no charge to her.  No thank you, no nothing.  Ms. [redacted] continued complaining to my guys how terrible I was and then she asked them if when she moves again, can she call them directly and have them move her and not go through the company.  They explained they do not work that way.  Over the next few weeks Ms. [redacted] has continued writing negative comments anywhere she can which we have tried to overlook.  There is nothing we can do to satisfy her.  We repaired a drawer that showed no signs of damage and returned it repaired within 3 days at no charge to her. The packing and supplies portion of her bill came to $403.00 and she was charged $353.00. This reflects a $50.00 discount from her bill.
On July 19th 2014 I received a letter from Ms. [redacted] (almost a month later) now stating I stole 2 dining room chairs from her and she did not notice the chairs missing from her dining room table until now.  We have gone out of are way to accommodate Ms. [redacted].  She continues to threaten us.
We have been in business for over 20 years and have an impeccable record.  In all of our years, I have never seen anything like this.
We would like to wish [redacted] the best in here new home.
