We recently rented a cabin with fireside chalets Upon arrival 1st there is no private lake it's a pond .when we finally got to the cabin ,it was dirty Candy wrappers left in windows Popcorn on the floor in the room with the pool table Dishes put away in cupboard dirty Pans had food left stuck to them Blinds are in poor condition .trash has been thrown down behind the cabin Building material is there too looks like tar paper .Bath tub had dirty cleaning rags left in it Maybe they should look at their cleaning crew Also had several bug bites of some kind from inside used bug spray outdoors.Upon check out we tryed to tell them our complaints they clearly didn't want to hear it
I recently had the absolute worst experience with Fireside Chalets in Pegion Forge, Tn The HOT TUB had jets that were not as strong as the jets in the whirlpool bath tubStaff would not transfer us to another cabin unless we give up our 4th night freeThe so called professionals they sent up on our 3rd night said it was one of the oldest tubs there & it was worn out & needed to be replaced The dish washer leaked, only used it once, the unit was not cleanI will never recommend this company to anyone
When we checked into the cabin we rented we walked into the cabin and we noticed staining on the rug and broken window blinds. We continued upstairs to the bedroom and after pulling back the quilt on the bed we noticed several stains on the quilt which could have been blood we don't know. They expect you to wash the towels because for six day stay they only provided seven towels for two people. I don't know about anyone else but I don't go on vacation to do laundry. The grill outside was dirty and unclean there looked to be no maintenance done on this cabin in quite sometime. This ruined our 30th wedding anniversary. The photos on the website made it look outstanding they are very deceiving.
I was totally disappointed with the chalet that I rented. The cabin was really filthy. There were stains on the carpets, the walls were all marked up and the hot tub cover was really torn up. Outside the premises was trash all around it (including silverware in the front rocks). The porch swing had something disgusting all over it. After expressing our disatisfaction with the cabin, Fireside did contact another company and we moved to an awesome cabin with that company. We did not have a problem with paying for our 1 night stay with them but had to fight to receive additional fees back.
