Painting service has not completed job. Only a few punchlist items remain, but despite repeated calls and emails, painting company has not returned.Painting service has not completed job. Only a few punchlist items remain, but despite repeated calls and emails, painting company has not returned or responded. The service contract was signed in early June, and painting commenced soon thereafter. I paid for services in full when company owner indicated work was 90% complete. The painting company finally returned a month later to come to 95% complete, but they have not returned to complete carpentry items and final painting of a door (a half-day's work).Desired SettlementAs work has not been completed, we request either a partial refund of the incomplete work or an immediate response to provide service. I believe $500 for a refund is appropriate. Thanks,[redacted]

Poor quality of service, terrible customer support, and absolutely no remedy of complaints. Did not complete contracted work.We contracted First Aid painting on June 27, 2015 for them to powerwash the house, paint the trim of hour house, and replace some old an decayed would trim for $2,126.00. We paid $800 on June27 (cashed June 29).At first we were fine with being on their "low priority" list and not having anyone show to paint. We were not in a hurry. Then as the summer came to an end we told [redacted] that we needed it done. He sent painters in late July or early August. Complaints really fall into 3 areas:Side issues that are unacceptableUsed my power washer in garageUsed my ladder from under my house behind a closed door.Drank our sodas in the garageTook my thick painting drop clothDid not clean up the yard of paint, paintbrushesUsed split logs and sticks from my firewood pile to lay shutters on and then didn't clean up They took the remaining paint so we don't know the colors to buy to finish the work.Poor QualityDid not power wash the top 4-5 rows of siding on the back of my houseDid not paint some bases of the windowsDid not paint small parts of front door around handleRemoved decayed wood strips on both sides of the front door, then used them as replacement strips by flipping them around and putting the decayed parts on the back top (unseen). They actually claimed that it was new wood. I thought it was old wood, and they claimed it was "rough cut" that they had just bought from [redacted]. When removed, we noticed that it was the old wood. The front door did not close when they completed the project.Never showed up when they told us they would. Never stayed as long as they said they would, or accomplished what they said they would.[redacted] (Owner) does not return calls, does not show up when he says he will, and has not remedied the issues.EthicsThey lie. They steal.I sent an email to [redacted] on September 8 sharing my complaints. He responded on September 11, apologized for our experience and promised to correct the problem of the front door strips and door closing. A second set of painters arrived on September 19 and measured the strips on the door sides. I sent another email on October 8th asking him to complete the work. The painters showed again on October 12, unannounced, and replaced the wood and primed the wood. They did not have the paint and said [redacted] would not return their calls. I sent my final email on October 19 asking [redacted] to complete the work by this Friday or at least tell me the color of the paint and where he bought it so I could complete it myself. I asked him to respond by COB Tuesday to acknowledge receipt. No response./////Desired SettlementI'd like to receive the location of where they purchased the paint and the colors (2) of the paint they used. I would ideally like to have them supply the paint and complete the painting, but at this point don't trust them to do anything even close to professional./////
