Guest is entitled to his/her own opinions I refuse to refund the deposit because the room smelled horrible after the guest left

I reject the response of the business because: I cannot tolerate the situation and the way we were treatedThe owner states that our deposit was not refunded because of the conditions we left the room and the room was not any different from the way it was given to usIt was unbearable the condition and the lack of hygiene in where it was rented to us with dust accumulated that cannot be the result of the daysOwner also says that they do not accept dogs bigger than lbsbut a guest near our room had Husky dog, so I do not know if he does not follow his own policyWe stayed there because they accepted our pets regardless of the number, and if the owner himself is accepting them than no one expects to be treated bad for having them thereAt all times, they would make it clear to us that they were uncomfortable with their presence by observing us constantly while walking out of the motel, telling us to not let them out of the restroom and even telling other guests about us and our petsThe motel is not supposed to disclose information and gossip about people’s life to other guestsWe witnessed how the lady in the front desk was talking about us to another guest and how she told us the story of a man who stayed with his elderly Dad that needed medication and complaint about how they left the room “smelly”It is truly unacceptable seeing someone disclosing information of their own guests to other people, that is private matter and they are entitle to respect the privacy of othersIn our case, our pets are like part of our family, so when we evacuated they were included as well and the fact that they were accepted but then made feel uncomfortable for having them with us is like we are not welcome there eitherIf I would of known that this business lacks of hospitality, we would of preferred to spend the nights in our cars where no one would mind our situationOwner also states that they did not kicked us out, and maybe not verbally but yes with their actionsWe were judged, profiled, and made our environment very hostile which took us to the decision of leavingThe fact that the lady at the desk called us Mexicans was wrong, the fact that she told us that why we did not go to a shelter instead is very wrongIf the owner does not wish to refund the money, that is okayHe can keep it and keep in his heart the fact that his service to us was very unprofessionalOther hotels opened their doors to evacuees and their pets for free and instead we stayed at his business and made feel very uncomfortable, the opposite of what renting a room should beOf course, I am upsetIt is even more unbearable to have to deal with a situation like the one we went through during a time of disasterI am providing pictures to prove the conditions in where the room was rented to us and why it sounds absurd the fact that additional cleaning was needed. Guest is not being 100% honest here Guest rented the room and bluntly lied to us saying she only had pet Because of the terrible weather and circumstances here we didn't want to "throw out" the guest to say We allowed her additional pets to stay in the room Guest is
upset because we made it very clear that if the room is left in such a matter that we ourselves would have to do additional cleaning because of the pet stains or smell, the cost would be passed onto the registered guest as she signed for it.Please review all notes taken and documented with our Super / Wyndham Corp Office.Thank you,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I DO NOT support the way the owner has handled this situationHe will not do a refund, but I do want to make people know the type of business he has and the lack of respect towards his own customersI do not agree with his statements or way of treating guests at his motel an even worst evacuees, in such delicate and desperate timeWhile staying there, I felt uncomfortable, saw and heard things that no one paying for a peaceful stay or just trying to find a safer place should experienceEvacuees in general were classified as "trouble" and just because the owner and his wife live at the motel, should not mean that they are going to rent rooms to guests with negative attitudes and give them a speech of all the things they don't like to happen at their placeBecause if they see it as their house, then it should be about opening the doors to guests and make them feel welcome not do the oppositeThis is an experience for meI saw my Mom struggling during this unpleasant time and I how a man was rude, sarcastic, and very mean to herThat is not a gentleman and the fact that we paid for this room that was dirty and he ignores the pictures proving it, resumes it all.? Regardless of what he thinks, I can say that I have learn a lot about people and some businessesI? have tried other motels super and the experience surpasses the one we had at this specific location.?
