In response to the complaint...At the time of this complaint, our website said $2 pints and to check *** for the daily beer special. Our web designer wasn't able to make the change immediately, and hence the day delay. However, had the
customer checked the *** page as instructed on our website, she would have seen that we no longer had the special. We had been offering *** *** for $2/pint but, since not many people had responded to this special, we pulled it and instead offered daily pints of *** and *** *** for $(instead of just *** *** for $2). We have since returned to offering *** *** for $2/pint (as reflected on our *** page), but we will change this to *** some time this week.We do indeed try very hard to please our customersSometimes, the way we decide to handle matters depends on the behavior of the customers. In most cases, we have no problem whatsoever giving them the free food they are angling for. However, as I was not personally in the restaurant at the time, I must defer to the decisions of our cashier and Manager on Duty. We have an incredibly kind, trust-worthy, and honest staff whom I trust completely in all respects. I may have handled things differently had I been in the restaurant, but in most cases I find that our very experienced and good-natured cashier handles matters in a very satisfactory manner. This customer has already bad-mouthed us on *** so I am not at all inclined to try to appease her. Had she left a message that she wanted to speak with the General Manager, I would have been more than happy to talk with her to see how I could have made her feel more attended toNotwithstanding, I am nonetheless interested in any suggestions your agency may have for these types of situations.Respectfully,*** *** ** *** *sq.General Manager
