First Auto Credit Reviews (8)

The vehicle that the [redacted] s bought on June 29th, was a 26,000, year old and to our knowledge the engine that was in the car at that time was the original engine Inasmuch as the primary/secondary borrowers are concerned, due to credit situations beyond our control, and as it was explained to them at time of purchase, it was necessary to list Mr [redacted] first on the contract in order to procure financing To date, the [redacted] s have not contacted the dealership Out of good will, we would be happy to try to arrange for financing, pending credit approval, on a different vehicle

Ms [redacted] purchased a vehicle from First Auto Credit on December 1st, As she indicated, the vehicle was purchased AS-IS, with no warranties It was also sold on a prior salvage affidavit, which the purchaser signed at time of delivery On December 12th, the purchaser called the dealership to complain of her troubles At that time, she was reminded that a Missouri Safety Inspection was completed, by a third party inspection station in Jackson, MO, and was provided to her After some additional explanation and indication that the dealership would not refund her father's money to her, she became agitated and hung up Within a few minutes, a Missouri Highway Patrolman phoned the dealership after having inspected the car for her, and indicated that he noticed we had provided a Missouri Safety Inspection, and he had also telephoned that station to advise them what he had found I advised the Patrolman that she should take the vehicle back to that inspection station and allow them to repair what he had found to be necessary To date, 12/22/16, we have not heard from the purchased, and she has shown up

Ms. [redacted] bought a vehicle from us on 9/26/16.  The vehicle was very specifically sold as-is, and with no warranty.  She bought a "friend" with her to inspect the car before she bought it and agreed to purchase the car for a deeply discounted, (AS-IS) price.  On 10/3/16, she returned...

complaining of an apparent brake noise.  After some discussion, and explanation of "AS-IS", we offered to trade her into another vehicle that was similarly priced, or repair the car out of good will which we did.  Approximately a week later, she phoned the dealership again, very distraught, and claimed her vehicle broke down, we knew it was going to do so, and subsequently left her stranded.  The dealership towed the vehicle in for her, diagnosed it as having a broken timing chain, and in light of her troubles, offered to finance another vehicle in-house for her.  After learning we could not offer her what she paid for it, since it now needed major repairs, she became very agitated and was asked to leave.  After being consoled by a friend, and some discussion about trading, we were able to trade her into another vehicle, with which she is seemingly happy.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/17) */
On November 3rd, we received a call from Ms. [redacted] father indicating that the vehicle she bought was in need of some repairs. After a brief conversation, he indicated to us that she was very unhappy, and apologized in advance for her...

hostile behavior. On November 4th, we facilitated getting the car to a repair shop that would repair her car, and accept her extended service contract for payment. After a number of phone calls from Ms. [redacted] on the day the car was dropped off, we finally indicated to her that the repair shop working on her car would notify us as soon as it was repaired and ready for pick up. Ms. [redacted] called at least three more times to ask about the status of her car and again was told she would be notified as soon as the car was completed. To date, November 11th, her car has been repaired, and returned to her with no cost to her.

The vehicle that the [redacted]s bought on June 29th, 2017 was a 26,000, 5 year old and to our knowledge the engine that was in the car at that time was the original engine.  Inasmuch as the primary/secondary borrowers are concerned, due to credit situations beyond our control, and as it was...

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I have tried reaching out to them several times they said someone was always busy. When I finally gpt ahold of someone they was hateful and not willing to help. I also reached out with the finance co. They have been trying to contact the dealership. Which the dealship has yet to made contact I rather not ever do business with them in the future.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
