VERY POOR EXPERIENCE: I'm years old and have been wearing glasses since I was today, for the first time ever, I had to return a new pair of glasses because after TWO remakes I cannot see well out of them! This saga began on 5/3/when my wife and I both had eye exams and ordered new glasses - my wife's glasses arrived in the stated 8-working days and she had no problem (other than the glasses don't sit level on her face but in light of my experience she doesn't want to go back to First Choice)My experience was not so goodI heard nothing about my glasses until I called some THREE weeks after my exam only to be fed a line about one of my lenses arriving broken and needing to be re-ordered with a new eta of approximately another weekPLEASE NOTE THAT NO ONE CALLED ME FROM FIRST CHOICEMiraculously the very next day my glasses were received (which makes me think the story the previous day was just made up)! A few days later I arrive to collect my glasses and my vision in them is terrible so I refuse to accept them and make an appointment for a prescription checkThis I duly undertake and my glasses are sent out for a remakeWhen this is complete I pick up my glasses and notice the close work is excellent but my distance vision is poor and worse still my peripheral vision is wavyit's like looking through a tunnelI accept the glasses in the hope that my eyes may "adapt" given timeHaving worn them for a few days I can take no moreI cannot drive at night in them and cannot easily read road signs etcso I call First Choice and make ANOTHER appointment for a prescription checkI re-attend again and repeat the whole process - it has to be noted that I have had a LOT of eye exams in my life and I have never had an exam where they leave the same letters up on the wall for you to read again and againonce you've read G N V Z five times your brain tells you what you are seeingthe letters need to be switched around (something I did mention to the staff)! Anyway, my glasses go off for a SECOND remake and today (some TWO MONTHS) after my initial appointment I re-attend again to collect my glasses and they are absolutely no better - my old glasses have better distance vision and the new glasses STILL have wavy peripheral vision! First Choice did refund my $out of pocket expenses and I was promised they would contact my insurance (VSP) to arrange a refund of that as clearly I am unable to go elsewhere without first getting my insurance allowance reinstatedMy whole experience has been horrible - definitely the worst experience I have ever had regarding my eye care
