I have sent him pictures that the roof was done, this roof is done.

Check was cashed in person at the [redacted] branch on the back of the check.

Business states they have been in contact with consumer and let them know they would be dropping material off this week, and will begin work on the roof when the temperature reaches 35 degrees or above.

reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr. [redacted] had stated in December that he would pay $1000 (one thousand dollars) per month until paid back in full with the latest deadline for final payment in March 2016. Mr. [redacted] has yet to show any repayment, even in a smaller amount for good faith. We expect either a partial payment or payment in full by March 15th, 2016. If there is a partial payment, the full payment will still be due by March 31st, 2016. If Mr. [redacted] fails to pay back this money and we move to a legal proceeding, we will also ask for reimbursement of the fees incurred during that process. We believe we have been more than fair in this arrangement.

I have spoken to the owner but until the roof is done I do accept this. He has promised to complete the roof for over a month. Until the roof is done and I have PROOF that the roof is done I don't accept this response.

HiOn 1-11-16 I recieved a text from [redacted] stating that the materials will be delivered that week and he hoped to get started on the project.   I then recieved a message from you asking if I accept this solution.   At this time I cannot accept this solution because the week is over and the materials have not been delivered.   There was a discussion where I told him I did not feel the materials would be safe where he wanted to put them because of theft in the area and if he decided to put them there I could not be responsible for them. He did not respond to that text and could be why the materials have not been delivered.  However I again texted him on 1-15-16 and told him I have now been ordered by the city to repair this roof and other damage to my home.  I told him that I need a start/finish date for this to pass on to the city to avoid possible fines I could incur or to give me a refund of my money.  I have not heard from him, not since 1-11-15.  So at this time I cannot accept his response to you.  He knew when I gave him the money that I wanted to head off the city because my roof was so bad and causing a lot of damage to the inside of my home. Also, although I understand that it has to be at least 35 degrees in order to do this,  there have been many nice days in the three months since I gave him the money and I see only a couple days in the next 15 day forecast that the temp will be around 35.  Those days include snow.I am very frustrated with this whole situation. And one of the worst parts of it is the lack of communication with this company.  I want a start or completion date or I want a refund so as to find another solution to avoid the possible fines I could be looking at .So at this time I decline his response to you.[redacted]

A 4000 sq. ft. rubber roof job. Start set up Oct.12th finish Oct.30 . Was not finished until Dec.16th. There is nothing professional about this slap shot operation. Do not let Paul fool you. He sets up too many jobs at one time with only 2 people to work them, and he is never on the job.

Review: My husband ([redacted]) and I contracted [redacted] L. [redacted] of First Choice Roofing with a signed agreement on 10/20/15 with a 50% deposit of $5200 for roofing work that was agreed to be completed before Thanksgiving Day (11/26/15). Mr. [redacted]'s team was hard to reach but still ensured that the work could still be completed in time. Finally we were able to get a hold of Mr. [redacted] to confirm work would start on Friday, November 20th, 2015. When no one showed up that morning, we spent hours trying to find out what happened and were told it was because of potential snow storms. The work would now start on Monday, November 23rd, 2015. Again, nobody from Mr. [redacted]'s team showed up, and we were now informed that his business partner had to fire the employees who were scheduled to do the work on our house. He promised to make it up or said that he understood if we requested a refund since he would not be able to fulfill his contract.

It took us weeks to hear back from him on getting this refund when Mr. [redacted] texted (SMS) us that he did not have the funds to repay us in full in December 2015. He asked if he could pay back $1000 each month until he received a tax refund and could repay in full. We agreed as long as he could start paying and show us he was serious by delivering a first check by the end of December. We have received no check by Mr. [redacted] and have been unable to reach him. We have tried over 20 times to make contact by calling, leaving voicemails, and texting. He has admitted in text that he owes us the $5200 deposit we placed with him four (4) months ago, and yet he has made no effort to even begin repaying us. All we request is the deposit of $5200.00 USD back from him.Desired Settlement: $5200.00 USD deposit repaid in full for breach of contract and work that was never started.

I hired Paul to do a build a raised roof and on my sun porch and new gutters and fascia on the whole house. The 3 day job turned into alot of no shows, unprofesional work, not done work going on 7 months. The job is still not done.

Review: I contracted this business to put a new roof on my house 8-3-15 and was told it would be done in one week. It is now 9-26-15 and the roof is not done. I have called daily and the owner no longer returns my phone calls. They were paid in full up front. They have been uncooperative with trying to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: Finish my roof or refund my money in full.

Review: On 10-9-15 I gave [redacted] a cashiers check for down payment to do a full tear off of my homes roof. I was told I would be taken care of in about 2 weeks. A couple weeks later I was told that because of weather their previous job was taking longer than expected. A few weeks after that I was told that there was a personal family issue that he was taking care of with his family and he would get to my project soon and that the materials had been ordered. There were many calls/texts exchanged and I was promised the job would be done. On 12-2 after calling and texting again I received a call from [redacted]'s brother telling me [redacted] had a medical issue and was in the hospital. He is the project foreman and they were short handed and finishing up the last job and I would be taken care of early the next week. He gave me his number to call him directly. On 12-9 when I had not heard anything yet I called the number that the brother had given me and it was a disconnected number. I called [redacted]'s phone and texted it with no response. I have called and texted almost daily since and still cannot get ahold of anyone, nor has anyone responded. It is now 12-17, more than 2 months since we signed the contract and I gave him the money and the work has not even started nor can I contact anyone. I feel I have been very patient regarding his family issues but the longer this waits the more damage I receive in my home because of my roof failing.Desired Settlement: I am in desperate need of a new roof. If you can no longer provide the work we contacted for then return my money so I can try to find another option
