First Choice Roofing

DONOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! The manager Shaun is the rudest person after they are hired. He likes to call the clients liars. He is extremely condescending when you speak to him if you have any complaints.

We were looking to replace our roof before we retired because we are in our 70's. Not sure how Shaun got our information because we had not reached out to him. He sent us a bid and asked if our roof was leaking. We stated that we had been in the house over 30 years and had no problem with leaking that it was just time to replace it before we retired.

After they replaced our roof we noticed that had spots on the ceiling. In the living room we started seeing water leaking from our ceiling above and at the chimney. We were getting several buckets of water dripping from the ceiling every timed it leaked. Called Shaun and he said it was our chimney, because he had never been to our home. We let him know that our ceiling was vaulted and that water doesn't run up hill. He sent someone out to check it and they replaced some shingles. A few days later it was leaking water again. He sent his guy out again and kept saying it was our chimney. We had a chimney expert come out and they said the chimney was fine.

After over two months finally someone figured out that the roofers had dropped the drain line from our high efficiency furnace into the attic and covered over it. So we had over 2.5 gallons of water several times a day, every day dumping into our attic. Shaun had originally said they would take care of any damage that had happened. Damage was to the ceiling, walls and potentially mold now in the attic. However when I called him to ask him when they would be coming out he said just take me to court and sue me because we are not going to do the repairs on the house. He said the problem was because the furnace guy had put the drain line up through the roof. But the fact was in two years there was never a problem until they replaced the roof and dropped the drain into the attic.

Everyone I have spoken to agree that it's the roofers who caused the issue. So unfortunately instead of him just spending a few dollars to do the repairs we will be going to court and he will pay more. Shaun is the liar and doesn't care if they cause a problem at your home. He thinks it's just your problem. Not sure if he just takes advantage of seniors or if he is prejudiced and doesn't like minorities or he just doesn't care about people at all.

Both of the roofers that he sent out to figure out the issue stated that he was not a nice man and that he was very very cheap. The gentleman who finally figured out the issue stated that he was always having to go back to houses to try to figure out issues because Shaun was so cheap and only hired cheap laborers. Neither one of them had anything good to say about Shaun.

I would Highly recommend that you run not walk from this company!

I have paid this company to Patch all leaks in roof with rubber flash tape seal seams with rubberized roofing mastic and coat with elastomeric rubber coating to "ensure a long lasting water tight seal" LIESit has only been months from the time my roof was "repaired" for it to leak literally in the exact same spots/and new ones Now the home that I am living in until this Friday Nov25thwas a mobile home I purchased two years ago when I found out I was pregnantSince then we have purchased a home and will now know we have a good roof that was just replaced with a different company in our new home and will never have to deal with this company againMy husband and I have spent exhausting amount of days calling this company and we always get this call center that receives the calls the company rolls overWhich has been every time for the last months we have called about this problemHow our roof is still leaking Its funny because this company offers a year warranty on

I used 1st Choice Roofing to repair a roof at my place of business in the Summer of The original work was acceptable and I was happy with the repairsThe work came with a year warranty on labor and materialsI have had issues with what began as a small leak and which is now becoming larger since October of this yearWhen I called the number provided on the contract I was able to leave a call back number and I was assured that someone would be returning my callThis has gone on since the first of November with only one call backThe employee that called me informed me that the owner of the company was out of town for a funeral but assured me that they would inspect the roof the following weekI have not heard back from them since and as I have called their number numerous times it has become obvious the number is only a call center that passes on the messages to the businessThis become a health issue if the moisture finds it way into an interior wall and mold starts grow

I received a call from the customer's husband about a leak and I scheduled a Saturday 12:PM visit. I arrived and made the repair and the customer apologized for filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. The customer also agreed to make a video indicating the problem has been resolved.
