This is in response to Case # 94513428 [redacted]...

I have not been to this address due to it is a seasonal office, if mail had been going there then I was not aware of it. The reason for the late response in this matter. I recently got all the mail from there and no responding. I had been in contact with [redacted] in this matter to go over with her. The Tax Act system that I used was set up to send her Tax return to Fed & State on April 15th, 2014. After she brought to my attention I told her I couldn't look at the time due to my computer had crashed and was awaiting for it to come back. After some time and I was able to look..the Tax Act System failed to send her return. I did mail her Taxes to her and they were sent to [redacted] from my understanding. I was under the impression her taxes were sent to the [redacted] The work still had been done by my office and I have no problem of refunding her the Late Penalty of her return. The work of her Tax return was still prepared by my office and the fee I do not agree of returning. The late penalty Yes I would do that. Sorry it took so long to respond but I do not go to this office after it closes for the year. Let me know what I need to do from this point.

MY 2013 TAXES WERE NEVER RECEIVED BY THE [redacted] OR STATE. MY TAXES WERE DONE IN MARCH 2014 AND SUPPOSE TO BE FILED ELECTRONICALLY BY THE DEADLINE APRIL 15, 2014. I CALLED THE [redacted] AND STATE IN JUNE, JULY AND AUGUIST AND AT THAT TIME MY TAXES WERE NOT RECEIVED. MS [redacted] NEVER MAILED ME ANYTHING MUCH ALONE MY TAXES. I WAS GIVEN A COPY OF MY RETURN (SCHEDULES WERE NOT INCLUDED) WHEN I PAID HER IN MARCH FOR PREPARING AND SUPPOSELY FILING MY TAXES WHICH WERE ACTUALLY NEVER FILED. I MAILED THE COPY I RECEIVED FROM HER AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT AND HAD TO PREPARE THE SCHEDULES MYSELF TO GO ALONG WITH MY RETURN. TO DATE, I NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND FOR THE PREPARING/FILING OF MY TAXES NOR DID I RECEIVE A REFUND FROM FOR THE [redacted] AND STATE PENALTYLATE CHARGES. SHE HAS MY ADDRESS ON FILE. IT HAS NOT CHANGED. FOR HER UNPROFESSIONALISM AND BAD ATTITUDE, I DO EXPECT A REFUND OF THE [redacted]/STATE LATE PENALTY CHARGES AND I FEEL I SHOULD RECEIVE A REFUND FOR THE PREPARING/FILING FEE. SHE MIGHT HAVE PREPARED MY TAXES BUT SHE NEVER FILED THEM WHICH CAUSED ME A BIG HEADACHE AND A LOT OF LATE FEES.

I offered to help with the late fee and penalty but rather my system failed to send out the tax return when it was to go out..the work was still done. Please let me know so we can settle this. Thanks

To date, I never received a verbal, a text message or an email offering payment of late fees and penalties. If so, I would have accepted the offer.
