Do Not Shop Here!!!
AVOID THIS PLACE!
Ihad researched finding a replacement engine and after looking at many reviews went with First Class Engine’s - There is nothing First class about them. Upon receiving the engine my mechanic discovered grave ( leaking cylinder and other red flag issues) I immediately contacted Jacob W who sold me the engine as was given a run around with the ultimate excuse that older engines have leaky cylinders. If I wanted a leaky broken engine I would have kept the one I had! This was never disclosed prior to purchase and the fraudulent nature in which they operate needs to be stopped! I asked to return the engine and despite multiple calls and texts was told I had to email my concern to their claims email - which is a ghetto gmail anddress and no professional address was provided. The response to my email inquiry was a screen shot of the text correspondence between Jacob W. This lacks every professional and reputable indicator. It is obvious this is a fly by night scam organization trying to fraudulently take people’s money for non functional engineers - then draw out the return process so they can hide behind their 30 return window. Thank Heaven I can dispute with my credit card. I will be reporting them to the BBB in Elkhorn WI and the local authorities to get this scam shut down.
AVOID AT ALL COST! SCAM!

Scammers
Misrepresented the engine they sold to me, stated it had 68k miles when it actually has over 200k. Now they are saying it was “rebuilt” at 68k but no documentation to show and it looks like it came out of a swamp. Mechanic validated it has definitely not been rebuilt and he will not touch it. Of course they want to keep $700 for shipping plus charge me a $300 restock fee. No accountability whatsoever, no remorse, no customer care just a complete scam. I paid $2500, they were so responsive when making the sale of course, now nothing. I am devastated, saved for quite sometime to buy this engine. Stay away from them! Also, no last name given from sales dude now I see why.

No warranty
If you think you are buying a motor with a warranty, you are wrong. It is setup for them to not stand behind their product. Your have better odds buying a replacement out the junkyard or going somewhere else. Can't say I didn't tell you. They are yes and fast when your purchasing and then it's "email only" when it's time to honor a warranty.

So true! My experience as well.

SCAM
Engine bought from First Class Engines on 11/15/2021. I contacted this company the week prior to purchasing a motor for my car. They guaranteed the motor said it was run tested and compression tested before they put it on the market to sell. They also told me there were only 74,000 miles on the motor, there was a 5-year warranty on the motor if upon receiving the motor I replaced the rear main seal, water pump and thermostat housing cover. The automotive service that was installing the motor did all these things The motor was shipped to me and arrived November 22, 2021. The motor went to Too Quicks German Auto Service to be installed in my car. I paid for the installation of the motor and once it was completed Luis from the shop called me and said the motor was no good. I then contacted First class engines to let them know that the motor did not run, and they said that they would walk me through the warranty process for the motor and for the money paid to install it. They told me I had to talk to someone different in the shop. I was at work so I told them I would call the following day. When I called, they picked up and hung up so I called back several times, and they would not answer. I then used a friend’s phone to call, and they answered right away. I told them who it was, and they then said I needed to speak to someone else for the warranty and put me on hold. Nobody picked up the phone. I have not been able to reach them since. My wife called them from work to ask about a motor just to see if what they said would be the same information, they gave me about the warranty and they told her the exact same thing about replacing the rear main seal, water pump and thermostat housing cover. She asked several times if that was all that had to be done and they said yes just have receipts for it in the event that you need to use the warranty. Clearly this is what they tell everyone to get them to purchase from them and then change the terms when the motor doesn’t work.
I have included a copy of the front page of First Class Engines website that states the following:
• We specialize in selling used engines that been run tested and compression tested
If this were the case, then the motor I purchased would have worked because it was compression tested. It clearly was not because as soon as the motor was installed there was NO compression at all. The valves were bent the timing chain was broken the oil pan was cracked upper guide was missing and the engine timing was off.
This was a scam to sell a non-working motor and never have to be liable for it because they don’t actually test anything, and they DO NOT honor any kind of warranty they say they have available.

Thanks A Lot
Bought an engine from First Class Engines 2010 Chevy HHR supposedly had 22K on engine and they supposedly run every engine... It took me longer to put it I was recovering prostate cancer surgery and I bought all new water pump, radiator. all gaskets and a AC compressor... Engine never run right intake was broken about a 1/2 size hole huge vacuum leak... Which caused P0300 code Random Multiple Misfire Detected... I disassembled the engine had machine shop freshen up head there I was informed all the exhaust guides are bad had them replaced valve job head gasket kit $540... Machinest said this kind of ware usually occurs around 90K miles and up... Sent engine block to machine shop to degrease and hone where I was informed that cylinders are out of spec had it bored .020 over bought new pistons rings, and bearings, timing chains oil pump... All is asked was charge me for an engine with a 100K miles on it instead of an engine with 22K miles on I don't feel this is asking to much... I forgot plus the carbon build up didn't match 22K miles...
