First Class Tint and Vinyl Reviews (%countItem)

If I could give 0 stars I would. Came here because IDS tinting was too far away and I was desperate to get my windows tinted last minute so I randomly found this place on google and wow do I regret it. They did such a terrible job, had to redo it, did a terrible job the second time, including ripping off my rear view mirror and tried to "fix it" but got black glue all over the interior of my car and windshield which I could never get off, mirror fell off a day after, and I eventually had to go to safelite and have it done a second time. After all this, this place promised me a refund, then when I never recieved it they claimed their credit card company was just slow, a month later I continued to ask them for my $180 back and eventually Chris the owner blocked my phone number and completely ignored me...awesome business ethic. Ive seen so mamy reviews on Facebook google and yelp with basically the same experience as mine. Its a wonder how he is still allowed to do business. A simple search will show that he releatedly uses these tactics on so many people..
I considered suing them for the full amount plus damages and all the ubers I had to take to get to the place to pick my car up (4 to be exact). Oh did I mention they kept my car for 48 hours one of the times? Yeah that was great. But honestly in the end I couldn't be bothered to care after over a month of giving my energy to that mess.
I hope this place gets shut down for *** work, *** people, and terrible tint application and *** basic human ethics. Seriously, dont waste your time and money..

I first walked into 'First Class Tint and Vinyl' where I met Chris A, the owner of the shop. I bought a standard tint package for a 2017 Toyota 4Runner, paid extra for higher quality film, and bought the lifetime warranty.

I picked up the car and the quality of the tint job was unbelievably poor. Bubbles everywhere, dirt granules trapped throughout, and huge gaps between the tint and the windows. There are also several evenly spaced chips in the paint of every door. This is a brand new 4Runner with less than 10,000 miles on it. When I brought the car back to Chris, he admitted that the job was very poor quality so I asked him to please honor the warranty by providing me with a refund. He agreed to refund my card for $171.69, but after the 7-10 business days it takes for the refund, my bank let me know that there were no transactions initiated from 'First Class Tint and Vinyl'. I have a signed receipt confirming he agrees to a refund by honoring the warranty. I called him numerous times and stopped by the shop during business hours, but no one was there. Finally, when I caught him at his shop, Chris told me that he could not pay me my money right now. While at his shop, he was packing a U-haul, claiming his shop lease was up. He claims that he is moving his business out of Denver to Colorado Springs. His business now has a "for lease" sign on it and the shop is empty. He has been dodging my calls and the refund for 2 months. He is refusing to refund me because he claims to not have enough money for the refund of $171.49, even though he acknowledges that he still owes the money because the work was done within his clearly stated warranty.
This same situation has happened to numerous others with this business. I have spoken to other customers of his who have been written bad checks for refunds on poor quality work. He is also recruiting his *** friends and family members to leave positive reviews on *** to offset the myriad of poor reviews.
