First Class Used Tire

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because the business owner had the opportunity to replace the tires several times but did not, a clear contradiction to the story he tells in his letterThose instances include when I came to his shop to show him the problem as he noted, when I called several times and told him of the issue (I have phone records), and then I told him of the findings that the tires were out of round as shown by a reputable tire company and offered to show him proof of that (and included that info in my complaint)Months ago would have been the time to offer me new tires and he blatantly refused, although in his letter he stated he offered me new tiresClearly, this is untrue or I would have simply accepted new tires and moved on and I did not have the money to throw away on defective tiresInstead the business owner delayed resolving this, told me there was something wrong with my car instead of the tires, told me that he could not balance them properly because his balancing machine was not working (which was a tire jack used on concrete outside of his shop), and then when I told him the tires were out of round, he said there was nothing he could do and maybe some day he would fix a flat tire for me for free if I had oneThis is the reason for the complaint, if he had actually offered to replaced the tires, we would not be here disputing thisIt is quite dangerous to drive around on tires that are out of round, ie not perfectly round, as was told me to my the honest tire shops I visited to remedy thisAs a result, I have new tires because the business owner refused to honor his day guarantee and I could not drive in unsafe conditions in order to wait for this to resolveI no longer need his tires and a refund in addition to the cost of balancing the tires would be a fair outcome since I have nothing to show whatsoever for the money I gave him.Sincerely, [redacted]

I am running a small business. I have a used tire shop. I am only selling used tires. Youknow there is no guarantee on used tires. But I will replace tires for all my customers within30 days, if they are not satisfied with those tires. Once I sell the tires, there is no cash back;I can only replace...

the tires.Ms. [redacted] bought four used tires from my shop on January 12th. The tires werein good condition and I said that there was a 30 day warranty for those tires. She cameback in February saying that the tires are out of balance. I balanced them again and couldnot find any problems with the tires. But I told her that if she is not satisfied with the tires, Ican replace them. But she asked me for a refund on her money. I told her there is no moneyback refunds in my store and that I can only replace the tires.I read in her complaint that she mentioned that I balanced the tires on a tire jack. Nobodycan balance tires on a tire jack. Jacks are used to remove the tires from the car. I do have agood conditioning balancing machine and I did indeed use that machine to balance hertires. I did not use a jack to balance her tires.As I said, I have a small used tire shop. It is not like [redacted] or [redacted] I don'thave a credit card machine in my shop. I used to accept checks, but I was cheated of mymoney so many times that I had to stop accepting them. This is why I only accept cash.As I said, there are no money back refunds in my shop. I can only replace tires within 30days. In her case, it has been more than 5 months, but if she still insists, I will give her onemore chance and I can replace the tires but I cannot give her money back.Sincerely,[redacted]
