This is first time I am hearing about this.  Merchant requested epn to process transactions via cell phone.  Merchant was unhappy with that so we sent her a credit card machine.  Neither merchant nor us contacted epn to cancel account for some months so account was left open.  Account is closed now.  My staff has tried to close account on multiple attempts...We reached out to EPN on 3/16, 4/1, 4/18, and 5/6 with no response....
I just emailed epn to refund the appropriate fees.

business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted]   We have had nothing but problems with the check processing system that this company has set up.They have held up every transaction that we have made.I would not recommend the merchant account company to anyone,especially minority businesses!

I typed a long response and then got an error message.  Mr. M[redacted], is not telling the truth, I never told him I would buy the equipment from [redacted]  He told me toname my price for both the machine and pin pad because they were going to charge 295.00 for machine and pin pad.  I told them I could buy it online for as low as 169.00.  He asked me to make them and offer.  I offered 200.00 He accepted it.  Told me he would send it out same day with tracking number.  when I got it, there was no pin pad.  He said they would send me a pad out the next day and they didn't.  Mr. M[redacted] then told me he did not know when the pin pad would be in.  I was told the Manager Mr. Larson was in a meeting or out of the office.  I did not hear from him until Tuesday the following week.  He told me he would let me know when or he would upgrade me.  He did not call me back until after I filed the complaint.  I told him I did not want to do business with his company anymore.  Not only did Mr. M[redacted] set my account up wront Per Stephanie at First Data, He charged me for equipment they did not have.  Now they want to charge me a re-stocking fee, which he did not say anything about when we talked on the phone.  He put it in the email and I called him and emailed him right back and he never responded.  I want my 217,00 back or I will bring a legal suit against this company.  I am tiered of being lied to.  These people are not honest.
They tell you they are First Data, but they are independent sales people, you do not find that out until later.  I found out they also go by the name Paradis, which there are many complaints on line.  They have my money for the pin pad I never received but was charged for.  I have the email from them to prove it.

Please read the original response, "There seems to be nothing we can do to satisfy her so we’ve closed the account and will refund for the equipment once she ships it back to us."

First Data has been such an incredible company to work with! Customer service is awesome and they go above and beyond to help with anything they can. I highly recommend them to anyone!!!

misled this merchant in anyway and never hid the fact that we are Ignite

Payments First Data.  I don't know where she is getting her information about

rate but we I put her on a 1.59 tiered program with authorization of .10 cents.In order

to have her buy the...

terminal through us I match the price she had quoted me for

a terminal from [redacted] for a VX520 w/ pin pad for $200.00File was

complete on 10/13 and live by 10/15.  I didn't think anything different

from how I handle this file.  Brooke would send terminal to client after

file was live.  Brooke sent the terminal to merchant without out the

pin-pad on 10/20 noting in the notes that pin pad was not available until later

because of the huge back log of EMV orders.After

merchant picked up terminal she called and complained that she had not received

the product she had ordered.  I informed her pin pad was on order and

should arrive shortly.This all

took place on 10/26 and Phil was very busy with merchants and meeting with

you.  Because Phil did not get back to her that minute she felt he was

dodging her.   There

seems to be nothing we can do to satisfy her so we’ve closed the account and

I found First Data to be professional and responsive in transferring 3 accounts. The reports are easy to read and accurate!

Review: I signed a one year contract with the company in July 2013 and as of November 2013 I have never received one statement of charges. I have sent over 30 pieces of communication requesting a statement and the company replied with "Thank you for contacting [redacted]/First Data ISP, We are currently experiencing problems with our statements online." They have not responded other than this message however when I demanded to cancel my service if they would not provide a statement, I was told they would debit my business account several hundred dollars for an early termination fee and other charges regardless if they send me a bill or not. I have had the service with them for five months and each month they debit a different amount out of my banking account to cover "monthly maintenance fees" however the fees are never consistent and they will not let me review what the line item of charges are and that is illegal.Desired Settlement: I would like the early termination fee reversed and my account credited for months of no activity since I could not use the account since I had no way to verify any charges.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We had not heard anything from this merchant since we installed her in July. After we got the Revdex.com complaint we called her and help her get logged in to our website where she can see all her transactions and charges. She is happy now. thanks!

Signed up with First Data in July of 2013. I switched from my previous processor as they had many hidden fees, and was impossible to get customer service at square. So far I've been very pleased with the customer service and next day funding First Data offers. My experience has been excellent thus far.

Like most businesses, we get a high number of calls from companies trying to sell credit processing. I decided to follow up on a referal and compared First Data rates to the ones we have been paying through our bank. I was surprised to find out that we can save 30% (about $3,000) this year by switching. Working with [redacted] the change was extremely quick and easy. So easy that any business would do well to give [redacted] a call.

As a small business owner I am very pleased to finally work with a credit card processing provider that is straight forward and upfront about the charges. I picked up quality of service while reducing my credit card expenses. I know longer feel like I have to watch my back.

Review: My company has an agreement with Ignite Payments Paradise to process our payments from customers via merchant account .The agreement states that my company would process credit card payment and checks through telecheck.However we are only able to process credit cards,we have attempted to contact agent [redacted] of Ignite Payments Paradise to activate the check processing gateway that was stated in the contract.A representative from his office stated that the gateway would be available to use on 08/13/2015.It is 08/15/2015,and the check processing service is still not activated.as a result,my company has lost five check sales due to this companies actions.I payed a cancellation fee with authorize .net to do business with Ignite Payments Paradise,they promised better service.But it seems to be worst.Desired Settlement: activate the check processing service,as stated in the agreement.

Review: This is a perfect example on how to research a company on Revdex.com.org before filling out any paperwork with them. I was looking into a business which a rep took my info down and gave to First Data and Ignite Payment systems. I didn't understand how to set up the account. I started receiving mail t from this company to set up my account. No one was able to help me so I just didn't use them. Unfortunately for me they had all my information already. They processed a payment one day for a $25 payment for them albeit I have never used their services. I called company and the rep became argumentative. I told rep not to charge my bank as I do not use this company's services for anything. He told me I could not cancel. I told him how is this company able to charge me for services not rendered and no help if I ever wanted services. Next I started receiving bills for over $200. When I called the reps would not clarify my charges and just said I had to pay. Pay for what, I haven't used this services or even set anything up. Next I read all over the internet this is a scam company and many complaints for this business on Revdex.com.org. Bad business and crooksDesired Settlement: I want my first initial payment from late spring 2015 returned. I want this company to stop contacting me for money when I never received any service from them,
